- This is a how-to video about fountains. John Adams shares his suggestions for routine maintenance, and how his team does an annual cleaning of a fountain. So easy to look after! Great explanation on cleaning out the water in the basin. You made me laugh about your lack of excitement about cleaning but its important I never thought to clean the water out - I learnt something!

Just be careful with the finish on the ear. I think exterior latex?? It’s easy to repair but easier not to 😂

Great video. I have an aquscapes spillway bowl set. The foam filter plugs fast! I've pulled foam element. I see you have a different kind of inlet. What is that?
Also, takes about 3-4 weeks for the green grunge to set in and I have hard water stains. Any recommendations? I've scrubbed with a soft nylon brush
Low suction intake from Aquascapes. I have mine installed on an aquasurge pump👍🏻

Awesome video! Can you share some insight into how long the pump can be run? Should it be shut off periodically? Or is it designed to be run continuously for days, weeks? Thanks in advance.
Keep on running it. Periodic cleaning of the pre-filter is important for longevity of your pump. Winterization may be necessary in your region….BUT the system is designed for continual use ;)

What was that material that the frogs and snails etc love… birds will love it too??
The animals LOVE all of the feature. They are drawn to the sound and then it is a natural habitat! That fountain was a haven for all creatures-frogs,snails, birds, even insects like honey bees ;)

Try an aquascape auto doser (look that up) there are different formulations you can put in it) or just look up fountain maintain on their website! Aquascapeinc.com
As per request, my only critique is don’t talk about boring so much. The most boring parts were literally you talking about how boring the content is.. lol 😅 There was absolutely nothing boring about this video nor content!Beautifully done! Thank you for the tips and the wall thru! 🥰

Maybe a brush isn't the way to go to begin with.... I know, it's "easier" to clean something off with a scrubber, but clearly they
did not put a durable finish on that urn... just paint. Hopefully the polyresin stone ones will be easier to keep clean without
scrubbing off the finish.
True story-the paint comes off pretty easily. A tougher finish would be nice. On the bright side though it is easy to touch up…

This is an excellent channel. I love the leaning against the wall pose at the beginning. "Hi, I didn't see you there" type thing. The shameless self-promotion with the graphics on the trailer. Nice touch. Your trailer looks organized. A meth head would have an easy time rummaging through it to find what he needs so that it can sit on the sidewalk of "that one house" on the street because he can't find anyone to hock it to and that's why I keep all my shit in a state of utter chaos. Is it okay to run cleaning vinegar through the fountain? The internets says sometimes. I subscribe u.
I have never used vinegar, no idea. Be very careful with the finish and if you scratch it just use spray paint or outdoor latex for touch ups!
