Thanks for sharing all these ponies and comparisons 💙 Of course being an '80s baby I am all about the OG ponies, but as I've watched them evolve over the decades every once in a while one will catch my eye and I'll appreciate them and be glad that MLP lives on. About a month or two ago I was discussing with my mother how great MLP was as a doll line. Cute, great accessories and expansions, I truly loved collecting them and played with them for hours and hours. Long live MLP

Sunny can in fact hold that brush. You can push the peg into the holes under her hooves. I know its different than Gen 4, in the way that they used to hold everything on their ankles but for G5 it looks more realistic to have it under the actual hoof, tho, display wise it'll jjst look like they're stepping on the items xD

To be honest I do not know much about mlp but it was fun and exciting watching you compare and contrast them. The only thing i remember about mlp is watching the princess promenade movie and having 3 older pony's that are the bigger size with brushable hair( the g1). So you actually brought back those memories of playing with them and watching that movie :) do what makes you happy and if you like making these videos then make them💖 we will still support and watch you
Izzy actually can hold the paintbrush! You insert that little handle nub into the bottom of the hooves. I've just seen a post in a group talking about the differences between G1 and G5 and I thought it would have been great if there were any photos in the post to actually see them cause I know nothing about pony toys, and right after thinking that I opened youtube and saw you uploaded this video, it was perfect timing
LOVE THIS VIDEO! :) Thanks for the MLP content! G1 and vintage Care Bears were the first thing I actively collected from thrift stores as a kid. G2 is my favorite! There is just something about the art, and design that I love. Thank you for the tips you’ve dropped here and there for restoring their manes - I got a disgusting mess of a lot on Mercari that now look brand new! Looking forward to the movie and seeing where this line goes. That thing with the single sided cutie marks being inconsistently placed is really weird though lol. Glad to see more brushables! Did you see the 10” star scout that is sitting kind of like G1 bubbles? I think I will be needing that lol.

I feel the same about G4. They were tryign a bit to reffer to g1 at some points, but failed so badly and every pony is the same. My personal fav are G2, ebcause they look more like horses. G3 is like G1 type or at least they are very similar in the mold, tho less chubby, but I do love different body types from g1, and wish to get one or more one day.
G3 didn't have a lot of different styles, but they had a lot of cute poses, and their wings were adorable, when you could find a winged one. They're my favourite, with G1 as a close second. I just found a G4.5 Pinkie Pie in the dollar store the other day. I was wondering what she was. LOL About the cutie marks, I have a whole army of Pinkie Pie, and her cutie mark isn't always on the same side.
Oh I know! But in g4 in the show it was on both sides. The toys tend to skip things from the show but it’s very weird that they were on one specific side in g5 but it isn’t upheld in the toy line
I love this video!! 💜 it's so nice to see MLP content. I think the G5 ponies are super cute. I bought the larger sized Izzy Moonbow pony with what I think is high quality nylon hair (it's super soft!!) and omg I love her. Hard to pick a favourite gen but I do really love G3 :)
I am definitely interested in getting the larger ponies too! I never collected the fashion style G4’s but I have a few I got thrifting and their quality is INSANE
My fav generation is g4 because thats what got me into internet and my first fandom. Im not big fan of brushables in general but if youre asking for brushables I think g3 has best designs on brushables. My fav gen in terms of the toys tho is g4 blindbags and other figures they released. I thibk they are cute and great. I have many. G5 poseable ones are adorable. I personally only have Zipp. But Im looking forward getting Pipp and Izzy as well and Sunny (I probaly dont have money for all of em but lol) I love love these poseable sets and I hope they make one of Sprout too in future.

I don’t know much about MLP, I enjoyed the Friendship is Magic era though. I love how your passion for MLP comes through in this video! The ponies are all so colourful and cute, I can understand how fun they must be to collect!
I thought the movie was super adorable , my daughter loved it. For some reason I see no pony merchandise from the movie at least in my area. Perhaps when the new show drops it will be more readily available. Great vid!

G4 was pretty much my first fandom and what kind of got me into collecting too. I was a little disappointed with the G5 brushabbles in pictures, but after watching this video I'm starting to reconsider getting some G5 merch, especially since I absolutely loved the movie and the new cast. I may go for the molded hair ones, though, they look absolutely great

Izzy is best pony in the movie. lol. But in the show.. we're getting new voice actors and we don't know how the writing will go... soooo we shall see who is best pony in the show(s) lol. (the new cast seems pretty solid btw) Also, these figurines are great, love em'. (I started on G4, and in terms of toys I prefer sculpted manes/tails, glad they are making both and I hope they continue to make more brushables for y'all.)

Oh I didn’t forget… I just don’t know where mine are bahaha. They added very little outside of Ponyville which I consider more in the realm of blind bad figures for comparison so I feel that they weren’t necessary.
G3 ponies are roughly about 5 inches for adults. The smaller ones are babies. The smallest are tiny play books, tiny tins, dollymix, ornaments, and bubble bath toppers.
