Conterstrike was led by Zhukov and started at 4 am on 6th december 1941 =coldest day of that year. For next week Germans were thrown 200 km from Moscow but it was not over . it's cover for Russian song - Radio Tapok - битва за Москву, but it is very well. The middle part of this guitar solo was literally the Soviet Union National Anthem! All sorts of epicness going on in this song!
Setting the scene: Operation Barbarossa which was the initial invasion of Russia of the Nazis it started off with roughly 3million troops, the largest single invasion force in the history of warfare. So much death occurred from the time they initially invaded from the west through to the push towards the east. Operation Typhoon was ready to commence the assault of Moscow, only around 1million Nazis troops remained. Stalin orders 'NO MORE FALLING BACK, MOSCOW WILL NOT FALL'

Second, Brittney Slayes has made a single with Arjen Lucassen, the guy behind Ayreon and The Day The World Breaks Down. This single is on an upcoming Star One album release in February 2022. The track is called Fate of Man, feat. Brittney Slayes and Michael Modeo (Symphony X).

I understand that you wonder how the soldiers felt during ww2. But you may not believe it, but... even me, russian, living in Moscow do not know how they felt. Because when people returned from thewar they tried to never speak about it abd were very less talking on the subject. The horrors they faced there were so disgusting and the evil materialized so deep - they couldnt find huuman words to describe it. The only way for them was to completely abandon the theme. They talked about it mostly with those who were. Civilians could not understand it no matter how they tried.

I'd recommend "Wolfpack" for the next Sabaton reaction, it's an older one but I think it's quite underrated. it's like the Bismarck before Bismarck (mostly cause it talks about U-boats lol)
