Whats your PC specs man? I have a 4080 and my game looks horrifically blurry. I have definitely set the resolution correctly, so I can't help but wonder if it is my monitor.
@@proximityAlert 3060ti, ryzen 5 3600, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, also hm not sure why your game should be looking blurry, Don't think it'll be the monitor but not sure, I've never really had any issues with the graphics in this game so id maybe try looking it up on reddit potentially and showing ur entire graphics settings to see if someone can help you there, If you have any more questions though feel free to ask and Ill try my best to answer
@@proximityAlert Try turning OFF depth of field, ambient occlusion, motion blur, film grain, and lens flares. I would also go into settings>accessibility> and turn "additive camera motions" to OFF. If you are using DLSS I would use the "quality" preset with sharpening at something low like 0.1-0.3. Right under the DLSS settings is the texture quality setting which I would set to "high" I am running a 3080 ti which is far worse than your 4080 and I am getting 90-140fps on max settings with Ray-Tracing OFF, and my game looks perfectly clear.

I use Katana, throwing knife, but tech shotgun and micro rocket launcher and sandevistant instead of hacks. This game is amazing! Keep pumping the content, i'd like to watch you do more areas!

Thing is, path tracing does cause plenty of artifacts and ghosting (that's when you see objects be where they aren't anymore) to appear, stuff like ray reconstruction helps with that, but it ain't perfect, from what I understand simply having a higher resolution display does seem to help with the artifacts, though I'm unsure about the ghosting, anyway I'm pretty sure there's no way to completely get rid of these issues with today's tech, let's hope that when DLSS 4.0 comes it solves them
On my 1st playthrough I choose a throwing knife build with no aim assist and boy let me tell you what once I turned it on for my second playthrough I was an aimbot god
Full power V is probably one of if not the scariest person in night city. Like my first play-through of the game I built V to be a walking, self-healing, block on tungsten, with a shotgun and a sandy. My boss fight with Adam involved my blowing off one of his arms in the first 10 seconds of the fight and tanking through his AOE missle attack. V is one of the few people who would walk into saka tower solo and take it down. Thinking about it I would love ti see an animation at some point like edge runners with V pulling off crazy shit.
I was hoping to see a V cameo in Edgerunners, like David and his crew in a desperate situation and V casually going in and wiping every enemy like it's nothing
Even more lore accurate V: V waiting in the elevator while everyone else simultaneously dies Elevator door opens, and the entire building just blows up
If you invest too much the animation looks more "stealthy" but is also slower, locking you in animation for longer after having invested more points is stupid game design.

3:02 I just properly learned how to optimize Overheat and Contagion for explosive results. This is my dream scenario. On top of that, the quick hacking during the first equip animation so it performs in slow motion shows such a beautiful eye for detail. You make the coolest Cyberpunk content I’ve ever seen.

I am still going through my first playthrough, with full intention of doing another but with different abilities. The one I am doing now is VERY similar to this guys, a netrunning blade master, but the next one will be a bruiser with gorilla arms and a penchant for heavy weapons :D
Before 2.0 I considered Tech to be the mandatory 20/20 stat. Now - it's Reflex. Just for Tailwind. Also Body is great for Savage Sling. Hard to top the ability to throw a muzafaka at another muzafaka.

Speaking of how your run has phases: Since you don't consciously know how to explain how you play like this, watching Asthenia's video "the style theory of Devil May Cry" might help since a lot of it actually applies to this. It might give you the language to conceptualise what you're doing better. You and the others like 걍, ShadeZer0, Benjamin Winters, & Mask Change do your fights with enemy switching, posing, balanced movement, camera work, phases. Some parts of that video will only apply to beat em ups and hack and slash character action games, but I see a lot of it extrapolates to Cyberpunk and Dishonoured

For those who already have mods installed, DO NOT INSTALL THE COLLECTION MODPACK DIRECTLY! Just take a look at the modlist and pick and choose. Installing the modpack directly into vortex completely wrecked my other mods and I had to do a fresh install.
And then there are still people out there who call CP2077 gameplay boring and bad compared to other first person games, after so a good deal of great gameplay showcasing videos have been dropped all over UA-cam. The people that comment these things often haven't played the game or just very breathly after its release, when it was still an extremely buggy mess.
My wife and I have both been playing CP2077 recently, I thought it was gonna be a horrendous buggy mess, but after finally getting around to watching edge runner on Netflix, I figured "what the hell, let's see if it's any good now" and boy, is it. This has quickly become one of both of our favorite games. I will say my only criticism is how much more I'd love to get pulled into the world. Like I'd love if you could actually check out the BDs you can buy, and if they could just keep working on this game, making it more and more like what they originally wanted to do, because it's just such a fun environment to run around in and explore. The different play styles all being viable, and being able to switch it things up without having to be fully invested in one way of play in order to dip your toes in another is really nice. Like, I enjoy Skyrim as much as the next guy, but if you want to go sword and board, then decide you want to pick up a great axe, and start swinging that around, you're gonna have a bad time, same with all the magic, it just feels so samie after a while, no matter what you go with. But I can go full sneaky ninja man one minute, decide "ehh, let's make this quick instead" and pull out a shotgun I just found, and knock some holes in a group of gangers on the corner, then go right back to trying to sneak around. I love specializing in RPGs, but sometimes it's nice to do something different without needing it to be your main play style for several hours first.

I have a night vision mod downloaded ;) sadly everytime i record a vid its daylight and is blinding to use the NVGS, might have to do my next one at night lmao
Ah, this actually makes me wanna get back to this game for my medusa build. Just gotta work on killing pll with blindness/poison/paralysis by looking at them. And of course, using snake themed weaponry.
You should try the newest mod for cyberarms, it's called Cyberarms Collection 2.0. Far more easy to change between different arms because it works like clothing 🙃
Love these runs. Though personally I feel lore accurate V is more like just a pistol and the bare minimum cybernetics they could scrounge up in the handful of weeks the story seems to take place over.
I'm always in awe of folks that can do the swift smooth operator version of V. Because mine is always Unga Bunga to the max, full on. Sandy in, Punch off 4 heads, empty out a Carnage and Burya on the rest. Anything left dies in the imminent explosions.
At this point I do really hope they make cinema just like John wick 4 action no cut scenes , shaky cam, or any bs that feel icky. Don’t fear reaper live action should be at least John wick 4 with bunch of randoms weapons.
V is stupidly overpowered i remeber my first play threw i was a revolver gun slinger. One bullet was all it took to kill most enemies i killed smasher with six bullets
Lore Accurate V would mean that all of Johnny's friends would be dead or in retirement homes as by 2077, they'd literally be in their 80's and 90's. Because the only people who actually have life extension tech would be the Corpos who develop it. He'd be a ghost raging at a world that moved on from him.
I had this issue they’d always be rolled up, I believe there’s a mod that unrolls them, or gives you control over it rather, not sure if I had it in the video tho
@@Blur.843 I managed to somewhat fix the issue with the "Immersive First Person" mod, but it came with some new issues. If I wear anything with a high collar, sometimes it can clip through the camera and partially block the screen when I look straight down.

The Courier can launch that thing at V with pinpoint accuracy from the range of a sniper rifle. Yes V has much better speed and overall lethality than Courier Six, but he doesn't have a guaranteed one-shot. Courier Six does.
Also completely valid. I also specified "Lore accurate" for V compared to "Max Lvl" Courier Six. So the video-gamey nonsense like V.A.T.S giving The Courier a short range teleport with melee weapons, being able to carry a ludicrous amount of items through the inventory, eating food instantly in the middle of a fight whilst slowly healing grievous wounds with said food, even some of their borederline super-human perks... It's all treated as mystical abilities/radioactive mutuations the Courier has. Meanwhile, lore accurate V is more powerful than in-game V, but is ONLY capable of what the Cyberpunk 2077 universe says they are capable of; no extra video-gamey abilities (even if the game is pretty lore-accurate for the most part).
Everyone is saying that v is more resistant than david, but did you guys actually see what david put on? V might be mostly metal by the end of the game, but even she doesnt look like a gorilla on crack. V is definitely a far better fighter.But I think even v would not fare too good after being equipped with martinez's gorilla on crack armour. Heck i even have my doubts if v would even survive adam smasher level augmentation.
You have to use either the "always first equip" mod to get the first equip animation or you can hold down the equip button for your weapon to do it, e.g if I had my sword on 3, without the mod I could press and hold 3 and it would do the animation :)
Hey choom, love your vids. I just have a question, I have been having a sort of stump period when it comes to playing cyberpunk and creating a new character, I just can't seem to find a build that is fun. Always thinking to myself " I got to face this boss and that boss", "will this work against a certain boss and so on?" Any suggestions?
Hm, whenever I make a build I typically don’t build it around boss fights etc, like for my Netrunner build I thought woah I should make a Lucy build from edgerunners, it started out like that and then I was like, hm let’s switch it and make a spec ops type build, and kinda went from there. For my sandevistan build I was like, David Martinez..?!?!?! Then once again changed it up XD. Next I’m prolly gonna go into gorilla arms and have fun throwing people about but generally I choose a cyber arm or character and try make it similiar to them and then change it to my will, generally all builds in cyberpunk are OP enough to take on bosses I believe so just mess about and enjoy all the builds you can get :)

If you use tier 4 memory wipe or above, any hacks queued during the duration of the memory wipe will be untraceable, you can use this to get stealth hack kills, hope this helps :)
very cool game play, looks like a lot of fun, not sure what lore you are referring to, all the lore I'm familiar with edge runners are not even nearly this capable. They are just professional mercenaries with modifications that at best mildly improve their natural human capabilities beyond what is natural, or give them some new extra sensory capabilities generally related to interfacing with technology. If you play any of the TTRPG's this is the case at least.

V is stupidly overpowered i remeber my first play threw i was a revolver gun slinger. One bullet was all it took to kill most enemies i killed smasher with six bullets

Lore Accurate V would mean that all of Johnny's friends would be dead or in retirement homes as by 2077, they'd literally be in their 80's and 90's. Because the only people who actually have life extension tech would be the Corpos who develop it. He'd be a ghost raging at a world that moved on from him.

I had this issue they’d always be rolled up, I believe there’s a mod that unrolls them, or gives you control over it rather, not sure if I had it in the video tho
@@Blur.843 I managed to somewhat fix the issue with the "Immersive First Person" mod, but it came with some new issues. If I wear anything with a high collar, sometimes it can clip through the camera and partially block the screen when I look straight down.

Tough one, never played fallout new vegas but from what I’ve heard courier six sounds like a force of nature lmao
The only way the Courier can win is if they hit V with ARCHIMEDES, or a mini-nuke.
Six just doesn't have the speed to keep up with Lore V.
@@TailAbNormal Fair, the time dilation of the GRX Implants is only faster than all but the best Sandies. Which V most definitely has access to the best.

The Courier can launch that thing at V with pinpoint accuracy from the range of a sniper rifle. Yes V has much better speed and overall lethality than Courier Six, but he doesn't have a guaranteed one-shot. Courier Six does.
Also completely valid. I also specified "Lore accurate" for V compared to "Max Lvl" Courier Six.
So the video-gamey nonsense like V.A.T.S giving The Courier a short range teleport with melee weapons, being able to carry a ludicrous amount of items through the inventory, eating food instantly in the middle of a fight whilst slowly healing grievous wounds with said food, even some of their borederline super-human perks... It's all treated as mystical abilities/radioactive mutuations the Courier has.
Meanwhile, lore accurate V is more powerful than in-game V, but is ONLY capable of what the Cyberpunk 2077 universe says they are capable of; no extra video-gamey abilities (even if the game is pretty lore-accurate for the most part).
Myself, as a wannabe netrunner, I don't want to run into you. Brilliant gameplay! Above V in my opinion
Everyone is saying that v is more resistant than david, but did you guys actually see what david put on? V might be mostly metal by the end of the game, but even she doesnt look like a gorilla on crack.
V is definitely a far better fighter.But I think even v would not fare too good after being equipped with martinez's gorilla on crack armour.
Heck i even have my doubts if v would even survive adam smasher level augmentation.

You have to use either the "always first equip" mod to get the first equip animation or you can hold down the equip button for your weapon to do it, e.g if I had my sword on 3, without the mod I could press and hold 3 and it would do the animation :)

Hey choom, love your vids. I just have a question, I have been having a sort of stump period when it comes to playing cyberpunk and creating a new character, I just can't seem to find a build that is fun. Always thinking to myself " I got to face this boss and that boss", "will this work against a certain boss and so on?" Any suggestions?
Hm, whenever I make a build I typically don’t build it around boss fights etc, like for my Netrunner build I thought woah I should make a Lucy build from edgerunners, it started out like that and then I was like, hm let’s switch it and make a spec ops type build, and kinda went from there. For my sandevistan build I was like, David Martinez..?!?!?! Then once again changed it up XD. Next I’m prolly gonna go into gorilla arms and have fun throwing people about but generally I choose a cyber arm or character and try make it similiar to them and then change it to my will, generally all builds in cyberpunk are OP enough to take on bosses I believe so just mess about and enjoy all the builds you can get :)

If you use tier 4 memory wipe or above, any hacks queued during the duration of the memory wipe will be untraceable, you can use this to get stealth hack kills, hope this helps :)

very cool game play, looks like a lot of fun, not sure what lore you are referring to, all the lore I'm familiar with edge runners are not even nearly this capable. They are just professional mercenaries with modifications that at best mildly improve their natural human capabilities beyond what is natural, or give them some new extra sensory capabilities generally related to interfacing with technology. If you play any of the TTRPG's this is the case at least.
