8:29 you can buffer an exit command by being at a low enough speed to get off the bike but then immediately accelerating. As long as you are too slow to jump off and too fast to step off you can keep this state indefinitely. It has some funky side effects for its duration, such as being immune to being busted and being almost completely immune to damage, just as you are when entering or exiting any vehicle. I made a video on this glitch (and others) shortly before deciding that YT isn't my cup of tea.

I don't know how but so many highlights have a masterclass in storytelling. Like the first USJ one where he explains "I could lose my bike in the water or I could just die of fall damage", and then neither happens... until he gets hit by a police rancher 3 seconds later and _then_ dies of fall damage. It's so perfect.

Mission status: SICK AF
I like Any% NMG so much more than the regular Any%, whenever I see Any% runs, they always die because of either frame perfect glitches or the game just straight up dying and it feels like it's more about being lucky enough to string all the glitches together and not having one single random fuckup than the skill involved in doing all the tricks. Massive respect for remembering all the route though.
A full dyom run made of kill sweat- go coet ones would be nice

What's the best DYOM mission he has played, and on what stream? Like any unironically good mission design?
There was a military mission with a fake airship made of up of objects and props in the game but it looks really creative and somehow it moves. The english is good, there is a fake elevator section that is well made and a final fight at Area 51 with hydras.
It's called "[MOTW #142] Quadruple Extermination II" by VikingEVMv2.
Imo, it was the best mission Josh played by far. Unfortunately, I don't remember which stream it was.

can someone explain it to me: why hold a phone call? 🤔 to not waste time?
Holding a phone call is usually related to duping (starting and completing two missions at the same time in order to skip the following one), which requires a way to set the OnMission variable to 0 at a moment's notice. Phonecalls are sort of like missions, because they also change the OnMission variable, to 1 when the call starts, to 0 when it ends.
Using a duping setup you can obtain an OnMission=0 call, which means you have an active call while also being able to start a mission (which normally isn't possible). Holding a call means you keep holding the answer call button in order to keep the call active over long periods of time, to carry it to where you perform the actual dupe, where you start the mission (which sets OnMission to 1, normally preventing further mission starts), then end the call (which sets OnMission to 0 again), which allows you to start the mission a second time.
In some cases the OnMission=0 call is carried through various missions, in which case you may drop the call after starting a mission, which sets OnMisison to 0, but not in order to dupe, but in order to carry that OnMission=0 property to the end of the mission without having to hold the call throughout. That means you have to receive and hold a call before the end of the mission again. Receiving the call (which normally wouldn't be possible during a mission) sets OnMission to 1, but completing/ending the mission sets OnMission to 0 again, so you get your OnMission=0 call back. That's what Josh references at 3:40 when the car blows up (you see the stats screen open after he gets out of the vehicle because he is holding the call) and the clip after that.
