Absolutely beautifully done. The first time I heard this piece played was by the students at Cazadero Music Camp, in California. It brought tears to my eyes then, and brings tears to my eyes now. Thank you.

It was such an honor to perform this in York county high school honors band this year. This is the kind of piece that takes a huge bucket of maturity to play and understand. School shootings are the most terrifying thing anybody can imagine being part of.

This elegy was written in memory of the Columbine tragedy. Sadly, it is now appropriate to remember the victims of Marshall County High in KY, and Marjory S. Douglas High in FL as we listen to this moving piece. There are various version on UA-cam--many by school orchestras.
