February of 2019 I spent a week in Aosta Valley coming all the way from Canada and fell in love with the ski regions there. Cervinia with Zermatt is really special. I love it!
This video is from the Plateau Rosa, on the Switzerland/Italy border to the Cervinia, Italy area. At approximately 1:32 in the video, you can see when we ski/snowboard from Switzerland to Italy. From that point on, we are skiing/snowboarding south into Italy. The views of the Matterhorn are the backside views, which are not as spectacular as the front side views as seen from the Swiss side. The Swiss definitely got the better deal on the views of the Matterhorn.
Awesome run, looks perfect to see if I can still ski after 2 years off it!! Any more wide cruising runs you can recommend, first time in Cervinia. I'd like to avoid any narrow steeper reds. Great video
@@Simanski25 haha, i have a feeling the boarder is your brother, isnt he? Hehe, good riding Tim. I´m gunna do this same run tomorrow though im a beginner boarder. You seem well experienced.
I think it’s on a glacier. Conventional lifts won’t work as the support pylons shift each year. With the drag lift they just turn a few bolts with a spanner. You see the same at Kaprun and Hintertux.
Wow, So wonderful skiing.
White snow floor is so beautiful.
Feel speedy.
Great job, my friend. I root for you with Like.
Stay safe.
I grew up here and would ski this every weekend. Great memories. Thanks.

actually ,I think it is the red run 6 followed by the blue run 6 to Plan Maison , not all the way down to Cervinia which is 500 meters(altitude) below
Σιγά το epic run....!!!
Ενας φαρδύς δρόμος, μία λεωφόρος , χωρίς ιδιαίτερη κλίση και δυσκολία....!!!

you would think they would have got rid of that t bar that goes on for ever ?

The snowboarder is very annoying.
