When I've been out this year you gotta make sure that if you're fishing a horizontal jig, you're not is set back so the jig floats horizontal with waxies/plastic. If not, they'll just look.
Can't wait to get out on the ice and catch some minnows too. So much fun!

Agreed! I fish almost everyday on lunch if weather permits. Beats sitting inside staring at your phone like rest of the people lol.

Great videos. I don’t know if you thought about a quick camera journey out from ponds or lakes edge when you pull up just to add to the shared experience and immersion, but then again the way you do it is like instant portal escape to hey we’re hear in the tent/on the ice fishing so maybe not a good idea. I just wonder how you have your truck parked right next to the water in this video.. ? Anyway thanks for great underwater and top side experience.
Thanks Mark. I usually start my videos out on the ice but may do some journeys here and there. Just wanted to get back to you and say I'm not next to water. Our ice gets so thick here we drive on it. I am about half mile out on ice fishing next to my truck to block the wind. Gotta love Minnesota ;)
I've got a tackle box full of plastics of every color, but it's always white that works best on crappies our lake. North central Wisc.

You should try some wax or butter worms or sometimes I even use a small crappie minnows and hook it through the chin and out the top of the head and that’s what I catch a lot of big crappies and sunfish also bass to but you do you

Just a suggestion. get you some yellow crappie nibbles and tip your jig hook with one. Crappie will hit the lure harder.
I heard about them nibbles. Might have to try them.

The jig seems small and fast.
It does look like that but its effective. Lot of those were small fish so was jigging aggressively for hope of bigger ones.

You should send, sell rights to, this video to Berkley & all the other soft plastic bait manufacturers. You captured on video why flavor (& testure) matter in a soft bait. Look at the fish that turn the grub/jig 180 ddgrees from head to tail by drawing in the water, not the bait. I think they are sampling the taste before they commit to bite. If they were to get flavor that was in the water radiating off the bait, i bet they'd then bite. Great video

I'm running all off a battery box which has a Marcum Lithium Brute battery in it. Runs everything all day. Probably days if need. Welcome to the channel!

How deep are you in and what are you using to record I have the same camera I think
I was about 12ft. I use an Aver Media 2 to record from the Aqua Vu unit.
@@BryanProkuski thank you brother the Pond iFish in is weed-choked on the south end and very little Weeds on the North East and West sides and the south end or the weeds are are weed-choked so there's no fishing on that Southend in the weeds because they are so thick but I can definitely finish the outsides of them which would put me in about 12 ft we are just so used to catch them everywhere else we've never tried up there but now that I have the aqua View Camera Anna power auger I will be able to check them weeds where they end thanks for the info and God bless
