Love ECM and found it interesting to see what your favourites are cause there were quite a few there that I haven't heard yet and will check them out.
I'm now in the process of streaming all the ECM albums in Chronological order, started with the first in 1970 and I'm now up to 75 and have found quite a few new masterpieces that I really love.
My Ten so far would be.
    1 - Keith Jarret - Köln Concert
    2 - Keith Jarret - Changeless.
    3 - Chick Corea - Piano Improvisation vol 1.
4 - Chick Corea - Return To Forever.
    5 - Zakir Hussain - Making Music.
    6 - Shankar - Vision.
7 - Charlie Haden - Ballad of the Fallen.
8 - Art Ensemble of Chicago - Full Force.
9 - Andras Schiff - Bach: Das Wohltemperierte Clavier.
    10 - Pat Metheny - First Circle.

I have been following Terje Rypdal since 1970 or 71. His music never gets old for me.

If I am correct the first album to be released by ECM was Ralph Towner entitled SOLO CONCERT. Afine debut album by an American artist composer at the start of his career. Recorded live in Germany, a superb recording. HIGHLY Recommended.

Thanks for making the video. It reminded me of the awakening in mid-80's when ECM found me. A new world, and different from everything else. Not like american aggressive jazz, and even without rhythm ( ha-ha ), since they played so freely ... And it gives a picture of the strenght in the music, and the common experience young music-nerds make all over the world. Your list gave some new name's to check out. Here is my top ECM- list from those years - 1.Terje Rypdal Trio " Chaser ", 2. Keith Jarrett trio "Standards Vol.2" , 3. Zakir Hussain " Making Music ", 4. Masqualero "Bande apart ", 5. Ralph Thowner " Solstice ", 6. Marc Johnson "Bass Desires " , 7.Jan Garbarek "Afric Pepperbird", 8. Anouar Brahem " Conte De L'incroya......", 9. Jarrett/Garbarek "Belonging", 10. Paul Motian "Time and time again", 11.Kenny Wheeler "The widow in the window", 12.Pat Metheny "Rejoicing", 13.Old and new dreams "Old and new dreams" , 14.Charlie Haden "The ballad of the fallen", 15. Pat Metheny "80/81", 16.Chick Corea "Trio music", 17. John Abercrombie "Gateway", 18. Marylin Crispell "Nothing ever was...", 19.Keith Jarrett "Spirits", 20. Vijay Iyer "Break Stuff". And many more. Fantastic music all these.

ECM isn’t for everyone but it’s my favorite label. Alright I’m obsessed with the label but only have a few of the later artist such as Shai Maestro and a couple others but plan to go after more. My focus right now has been getting the earlier stuff on vinyl. I did enjoy your video tho. Thanks for sharing your ECM likes.

Well, given the opportunity, even a little late, I can only suggest Zakir Hussain's Making Music.
Well, I don't really mean only...
    Ralph Towner/John Abercrombie: Sargasso Sea.
Eleni Karaindrou: Dust of Time - Music for the film by Theo Angelopoulos

Yes! Sargasso Sea! That's a keeper from my high school days. Back then, I once told an aging hippie that Ralph Towner was one of my favorite guitar players and he replied, 'You're into Towner?!' He was stunned!

Many, many favourites on the ECM label but the artist whose music motivated me to take up saxophone is JOHN SURMAN (listen to "Stranger than fiction" or "a biography of the rev. Absalom Dawe")

Like you correctly said, nothing is permanent since ''EVERY THING PASSES BUT GOD , WHO IS ETERNAL; THUS WHOEVER HAS GOD HAS EVERYTHING...'', so said the mystic and saint Teresa de Avila.
Love Victoria and Josquin music too, by the way... Do Shema!!!.

Thank you SO much, that means a lot, and encourages me to keep going! Well, not sure how much more I can say about ECM, but I did get a lot of feedback that I didn't focus enough on the early releases - which is true, because I'm most familiar with the recent years, so, maybe the next video will be my favorite albums from the early years of ECM :)

Officium was my introduction to both Jan Garbarek and the Hilliard Ensembleas well. An odd listen for me at fist, but this seemingly unnatural pairing grew on me, and it makes for a very rewarding experience.

Thanks for these recommendations. From my side I would have included something by Eberhard Weber, one of Keith Jarrett’s solo concerts like Paris Concert, Pat Metheny’s Bright Size Life and 80/81, Charlie Haden’s The Ballad of the Fallen, Marc Johnson’s Bass Desires, Andras Schiff’s Beethoven Sonatas, Charles Lloyd’s The Water is Wide and Hyperion with Higgins, Anja Lechner/François Coutourier’s Momou: Moderato Cantabile.
