3-4-2023: Exploring Silver Comet - Riding from Georgia to Alabama (?)

We attempted to ride our bikepacking bikes (not road bikes) to Alabama and back, BUT...
It was a great fun day exploring the Silver Comet trail today. Round 2 soon!

Thank you. While some have managed to make it to Alabama and back multiple times, I haven’t had the chance yet. I trained last October with the goal of finishing in December, but unfortunately, I fell and broke my collarbone. It will be a few years before I can attempt it again.

Surprised and good to see Fuji as I know him and, more so, his younger brother T. Hehe. Haven't seen those guys in awhile.
But yeah, I've been off the bike (both mountain and road biking) for a few years now but got back into it (just road biking) in early spring of this year. Been strength and endurance training up for it myself since then, lost some weight, and looking to try my hand at it in the fall when it's cooler.
