Here is how you can imitate scratches, bullet holes, and plasma damage on armor made out of EVA foam.

Thanks for the help, gonna use this on my ODST chestplate. Best type of damage I've seen that looks good and is easy to carry out
+RyuuGames Awesome! Be sure to share pictures! I'd love to see your progress! :)
Same bro I’m doing it on my ODST Chest plate too!
Gluestick idea was genius
This looks so cool, I can't wait to add some of these to my mass effect armor! Thank you for sharing your tutorial
and JUST LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! my world is brighter!!!!
Awesome work, I can't wait to use it!
Very interesting technique, may use this on my own co-splay.
Good video, keep the content coming and I will subscribe.
Cool it really looks like torch slag
Great damage technique much better than the toothpaste/dry brush I kept seeing. Going to try this on ncr ranger build I'm doing.
Very cool not bad for your first time doing a video
this video is awesome, going to add your effects to my first cosplay and first eva armour, starwars themed but since light sabres are an very hot like plasma the melted effects are going to set it off, so again thankyou for sharing..
+xXClassifiediLINKXx Thank you for your feedback! This was the first tutorial I have ever made so I'm glad people find it easy to understand!
Please share pictures of your costume! I'd love to see it! :D
Still in template stage but yeah have a comicon in april this year so 3 months to get every thing done. And I have 3 Eva suits to make haha.. should look great though.. I've subbed so I'll make an video response to this video...😀
Would the Comic Con in April happen to be Emerald City Comic Con up in Seattle, WA? :3
+WexyLex um. I'm in Australia wa perth
Alright, cool! I'm going to a convention in April as well and I was just curious if we were going to the same one. Turns out we're in different countries! :P
I love this your tutorial was really helpful I'm trying to detail my odst and you have definitely helped thank you
I'm glad it helped! Good luck on your ODST build!!! :D
*Strongly agrees* 7:04
Very nice tutorial ! thank you! ;)
How to do bullet damage:
1. Cover armor with thin plastic sheet.
2. Get high FPS Paintball gun.
3. Shoot at armor.
4. Remove plastic sheet.
Too expensive

Eh, everyone has their own method.
@@truexenith8596 I wasn't saying it wouldn't work. The paintballs would create a great blunt force trauma look. Most cosplayers choose foam though as it is inexpensive

I know, I wasn't saying it _has_ to work either. Like I said, everyone has their own method.
Thanks, this helped me a lot. :)
Question... should I platidip, paint then cut it and repaint it to make bullet damage?
If you're using plastidip, I would cut the damage, add the glue "melt" , plastidip, then paint the base color of your armor, then paint the silver damage with weathering.
WexyLex thanks... I swear ur the only channel to show bullet damage
Thank you! I'm glad your found it helpful! If you think it would help other people with their builds too, don't hesitate to share!
