I’m pretty sure the campsite is the Quidditch World Cup (beginning of year 4), and the pink bedroom is Professor Umbridge’s office (year 5). I think the bathroom with the statue is supposed to be the prefect’s bathroom from year 4 and the cluttered room is the room of requirement from years 5-7 😊
I appreciate that Julian's house was in the Forbidden Forest, where they found the unicorns in the series! And the little cauldron and shamrock drinks posing as the Polyjuice Potion in the bathroom!
I'm OBSESSED with the detail of this island. I even went back to see that there was a vanishing cabinet (antique wardrobe) in both borgin & burkes AND the room of requirement, and there IS!! This might just be my favorite acnh island thus far! Respect to the creator of Ascendio, and thank you for touring it Katie!
I think the campsite is a reference to the quiditch World Cup. There were brooms on the floor and the tents were what people stayed in a the World Cup. And on the pier there was a bludger. I love the Cornish pixie custom designs on the floor!

I think all of the villagers are references too. You have the black cat and the dragon. Gryffindor lion. Ravenclaw eagle. Dobie could be for either dobby or a werewolf. Blue deer = stag patronus. Unicorn who lives in the woods. And I think Shep is supposed to be Hagrid and Poppy might be a hufflepuff badger, but I'm not sure.
the little alleway behind Leaky Cauldron must be the Knockturn Alley. The shopping district is Diagon Alley 😉. And I'm pretty sure the shop with antique chest is the Borgin & Burkes, where Draco Malfoy visited the shop. Also, what a genius way to incorporate sorting houses and wand shopping! And the Weasley's shop is just 💋👌. All the references said by residents? Everything is just genius, genius! What a great island. Well done to Katie, too. Thankyouuu for touring this magical island.

37:27 is the room of requirement - specifically the room of hidden things. You can see the vanishing cabinet, which malfoy fixed in the 6th book to get the death eaters into hogwarts. the tiara on top is ravenclaw’s diadem, one of the horcruxes. Also, there might be a book somewhere in there representing harry’s advanced potion-making book, which he hid in there. Maybe it’s that assortment of books on the table? Also, i think the campsite at the beginning of the video represents the quidditch world cup, not the triwizard tournament, with the green banners representing ireland, and the red representing bulgaria

Like the gryffindor and ravenclaw common rooms, and the divination classroom, are all up in high towers in the books, so they are on the top floors; the slytherin common room is downstairs since in the books it's in the dungeons; and the hufflepuff common room is in the same house as the kitchens since it's right by the kitchens in the books!!! At 46:50, when you pan up, I think the background is (spoilers) reference to Dumbledore’s burial spot. 😔 The last two books mention that his grave is made from I think marble, and then Harry puts the Elder Wand in with Dumbledore after defeating Voldemort. Very different from the movies!
No they put the elder wand with Dumbledore in the movies too! Theres a scene in one of the last movies where Voldemort breaks his grave open to take it!
I think it IS mcgonicals office bc of the pocketwatch. I think this is a clever and funny reference to the first classroom seen where Ron and harry got lost on way to class, and mcgonical infamously said “perhaps I should turn one of you into a pocket watch. The attention to detail in the location of rooms is incredible. Anyone else notice how the chamber of secrets was in the basement below myrtles bathroom or how the huddle puff common room was near the kitchens and the kitchen had the fruit bowl portrait at the entrance.
I just wanna say how blown away I am whenever I see islands like this. Not only are they super fun and creative, but it also gives you a sense of scale. When you have really nothing going on in your island it seems kind of small, but seeing how people deck theirs out like this- some of these things look huge! It's just so cool and inspiring!
This island is insane! The amount of detail is amazing, like how in the bathroom you had a little cauldron to reference when they were making the polyjuice potion! And the use of simple panels and standees are so masterfully done! I cannot this island is just... amazing! Also I love how all the little characters have different quotes! Such a nice touch!

As a huge Harry Potter fan who is constantly rereading the books and watching the movies, the attention to detail here is amazing. every little detail was thought of and thought through!!! I absolutely love all the thought that went into the houses. As you tour each room you immediately know what house common room you’re going to find in that house. Like hufflepuff opens with the gardens and the kitchen because their dormitory is next to the kitchens and their head of house is professor Sprout. Or Slytherin’s house opened with the dungeon because Slytherin’s dormitory was in the dungeons. Then they also had defense against the dark arts and potions to represent their head of house Snape. And Ravenclaw was decorated like the astronomy tower. So much detail, so much thought, I could go on and on about how amazing this island is lol
I was hoping someone would do this! I was going to do my island Harry Potter themed but wasn't sure how. I'm doing a Doctor Who theme instead! Once it's done I love to share. I only just got the game last week so I have a while to go.
This island is gorgeous! I plan on touring it soon! The amount of detail and time that went into this island is crazy! I've started over on ACNH countless times and have not finished a single island! Sticking to one theme is amazing! I'm hoping to finish my island. This tour is making me want to read the books this year, I've never read them.

Wow that’s impressive. The end with the maze to the graveyard is just the icing on this amazing cake! I think that one room with the “spa” was referencing the Prefect Bathroom from book 4. The one that Harry uses to solve the egg riddle. All of the custom designs were just nuts. This was the best HP island I have seen as of yet.
As an obsessed potter head it is hilarious listening to her trying to make hp comments, and the details are simply WOW! the time spent, and the work it would take. I do not have that type of patience
What a stunning island!! Absolutely incredible and mind-blowing. The cluttered room is probably referencing the room of requirements and I think there was also a reference to Dumbledore's tomb (with the phoenix and Dumbledore's wand on top) behind the bridge / alleyway.

My oldest son just turned 11 yesterday and loves Harry Potter so we had a whole HP themed dinner and dessert! Can’t wait for him to see this after school! i think the black tent at 43:24 is hinting to the last book where the trio is searching for horcruxes. the tiny poach could be hermiones magic pocket where she stored all the books and medicine to be prepared for every possible scenario :) the wand could possibly be the sign of hermione and harry having to share a wand when he loses his during the story

The spooky alley is Knockturn Alley- where the questionable people and shops (like Borgin and Burke's from books 2 and 6) are. The big alley with all of the shops like Ollivanders and the quidditch shop is Diagon Alley
Lupin’s defense against the dark arts room with the bogart in the wardrobe appearing as the moon - professor umbridges pink kitty office - knock turn alley that leads to Borgin and Burke’s with the vanishing cabinet.- the room of requirement with the other end of the vanishing cabinet and ravenclaws diadem, (would have been a great detail to add a toilet for Dumbledore). Not sure what the one room upstairs was above hogsmeade.. I was thinking perhaps aberforths house that lead back into hog warts in the last book? It seemed to have the tunnel in the center of the floor maybe. Anyway loved this island!! So magical and nailed so many details. Would have been cool to have seen an attempt at the burrow!

I absolutely love all the thought that went into the houses. As you tour each room you immediately know what house common room you’re going to find in that house. Like hufflepuff opens with the gardens and the kitchen because their dormitory is next to the kitchens and their head of house is professor Sprout. Or Slytherin’s house opened with the dungeon because Slytherin’s dormitory was in the dungeons. Then they also had defense against the dark arts and potions to represent their head of house Snape. And Ravenclaw was decorated like the astronomy tower. So much detail, so much thought, I could go on and on about how amazing this island is lol
I was hoping someone would do this! I was going to do my island Harry Potter themed but wasn't sure how. I'm doing a Doctor Who theme instead! Once it's done I love to share. I only just got the game last week so I have a while to go.

The small town was reference to hogsmeade and the pub in the house was actually the 3 broomsticks inn, hence the room upstairs
This island is gorgeous! I plan on touring it soon! The amount of detail and time that went into this island is crazy! I've started over on ACNH countless times and have not finished a single island! Sticking to one theme is amazing! I'm hoping to finish my island. This tour is making me want to read the books this year, I've never read them.

i am convinced i am not playing the same game, not only is the creativity insanely amazing but also there is such intentional use of every space and design slot, so much so that it has me convinced that they have an island twice the size of mine and also twice as many design slots, chef's kiss

Wow that’s impressive. The end with the maze to the graveyard is just the icing on this amazing cake! I think that one room with the “spa” was referencing the Prefect Bathroom from book 4. The one that Harry uses to solve the egg riddle. All of the custom designs were just nuts. This was the best HP island I have seen as of yet.
As an obsessed potter head it is hilarious listening to her trying to make hp comments, and the details are simply WOW! the time spent, and the work it would take. I do not have that type of patience

The cluttered room is probably referencing the room of requirements and I think there was also a reference to Dumbledore's tomb (with the phoenix and Dumbledore's wand on top) behind the bridge / alleyway.
I think the cluttered room with the phone booth etc is supposed to be the Room of Requirement.
Ravenclaw here. I have never enjoyed an island tour as much as I have this one. Totally brilliant!

My oldest son just turned 11 yesterday and loves Harry Potter so we had a whole HP themed dinner and dessert! Can’t wait for him to see this after school! As a lifelong Potterhead, I promise not cancel you! I’m howling watching you try to remember all the details! So funny!! Triwizard Tournament. Divinations classroom. Polyjuice potion in Myrtle’s bathroom. The Room of Requirement is in there. You weren’t in a random little pub, that’s Three Broomsticks in Hogmeade! Even the location of the dormitories are accurate, Ravenclaw Tower, both Hufflepuff and Slytherin are basement level. I’m sure some one else in the comments mentioned these before me but I’m just writing to let you know, you are hilarious. And this island is insanely accurate!!! Everything is purposeful! Wow!

Moaning Mertyl's bathroom had the bottles and cauldron of Polyjuice Potion and Tom Riddles Diary next to the open stall! As well as the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets! How amazing!
i think the black tent at 43:24 is hinting to the last book where the trio is searching for horcruxes. the tiny poach could be hermiones magic pocket where she stored all the books and medicine to be prepared for every possible scenario :) the wand could possibly be the sign of hermione and harry having to share a wand when he loses his during the story

The spooky alley is Knockturn Alley- where the questionable people and shops (like Borgin and Burke's from books 2 and 6) are. The big alley with all of the shops like Ollivanders and the quidditch shop is Diagon Alley
Lupin’s defense against the dark arts room with the bogart in the wardrobe appearing as the moon - professor umbridges pink kitty office - knock turn alley that leads to Borgin and Burke’s with the vanishing cabinet.- the room of requirement with the other end of the vanishing cabinet and ravenclaws diadem, (would have been a great detail to add a toilet for Dumbledore). Not sure what the one room upstairs was above hogsmeade.. I was thinking perhaps aberforths house that lead back into hog warts in the last book? It seemed to have the tunnel in the center of the floor maybe. Anyway loved this island!! So magical and nailed so many details. Would have been cool to have seen an attempt at the burrow!
