    Using VDO Ninja will allow you to add multiple guests to your live stream by adding them into your OBS as a browser source. We will show you step by step how to bring in a guest and you will be ready to podcast and interview guests live on your streams.
    This will allow you to co-stream with people on Twitch and on UA-cam.

    I'm new to streaming and this was super helpful, thank you!
    However, how does the guest watch the stream itself? OBS Ninja only has the video going in. They don't see the OBS stream.

    • @Andyhhhdx
      @Andyhhhdx  3 місяці тому +1

      Hello buddy, I hope you're well :)
      I believe that they would have to watch the stream live, so if you're streaming on UA-cam, then they would need to open another tab on their browser and watch the stream.
      There are other web-based services available to bring your guests into your live streams if you find the OBS stuff a bit of a pain. They do have free versions but they have a watermark in the corner. If you're happy to pay then you can remove the watermark and you get additional features and storage of your live streams too.
      These are usually more user friendly than setting the stuff up in OBS.

    Nice! How's the incoming audio?

    • @Andyhhhdx
      @Andyhhhdx  2 роки тому +1

      All sounds good to me. I use my earphones to listen to audio and this is what I push out to the stream so this can be adjusted in OBS. I also use my Go XLR mini if it's too loud in my ears and I can turn it down for myself in there whilst keeping it loud enough for the stream.
      There's options in VDO Ninja where you can add a compressor to the guests microphone to prevent it from peaking and deafening the viewers.
      You can also go a step further and use the win capture audio plug in for OBS where you can split all your audio sources and adjust the volume to everything yourself. This is quite a new plug in and from what i've seen of it so far it looks very good. (It's available here - github.com/bozbez/win-capture-audio/releases/)
      I'm going to play around with guests more and see if I encounter any issues and i'll report back in a future video if I do :)

      Yes, it will only be streaming from one account so your guest wouldn't be shown as live.
      I'm trying to think off the top of my head how you could get it to work. Maybe your guest would need to set up OBS too and hit live, but maybe screen share your live stream as a source. It could be something worth trying and seeing how it performs.

    • @Andyhhhdx
      @Andyhhhdx  8 місяців тому +1

      Hello there buddy, I hope you're well :)
      When you first create the room and you've got the screen which allows you to invite a guest. At the screen just under where the guest boxes are, there is an option to enable director's microphone or video. Click on that and click on the settings cog. This should allow you to select an audio source in there where you can select your microphone.
      Hopefully that's what the issue is.

    • @Andyhhhdx

      Hello buddy, I hope you're well :)
      What you can try, is right click on the VDO Ninja browser source you've got in OBS and click on properties. Tick the box for "control audio via OBS" and click on OK.
      Now in your audio mixer, right click on the VDO Ninja source and click on "advanced audio properties", find the VDO ninja source in the list and in the sync offset list, change it from 0ms and try something like 250ms. This will be a bit of trial and error to get the right number, but hopefully this should sync things up for you.

    • @Andyhhhdx
      @Andyhhhdx  10 місяців тому

      Hello there :) I hope you're well.
      Just double check when someone joins your room, under the image of their camera there is an audio settings option. Click on that and make sure that echo cancellation is switched on.
      A couple more things to check too.....
      Are your guests wearing headphones or having the audio coming through their speakers on their computers? I'm wondering if their microphone is picking up the sound either from the speakers or from the actual headsets and it's resending what it can hear back through to the guests.
      If you've got multiple guests in there, then click on the mute button next to each of the guests and then enable them one by one and letting them speak to see if the echo is being picked up, so it's a bit of process of elimination to see where the echo is coming from.
