I love Maltesers, i usually get the bigger family size box around Christmas, haven't had whoppers so i can't compare, maltesers also come in malteser truffles and hot chocolate drink, you use to be able to get a thick shake too not sure if you still can.
@@NGT4LIFE Definitely will have to try that! i usually use flakes crush them up and put it in ice cream never thought of doing that with maltesers, will do now.
Never had woppers is that a standard size box? Also back in the day the adverts made a point of showing how light they are by blowing them in the air ect
"Whopper shake" - If you are able to get to the UK, and happen to be in a city with one, I'd be very interested to see your thoughts on Shakeaway. It's a milkshake bar with a slightly wider variety of options than most milkshake places - I think it's a couple of hundred options, which you can combine as you wish, with some 'named' shakes that are specific combos of those options (e.g. e.g. Teresa is butterscotch, banana and flake; and Josie is while Stephen is pineapple and coconut topped with chopped nuts) (...And the Wicked Wendy which... Is a marketing hook rather than a serious option). And, yes, you can get a malteaser milkshake from there.
May I ask where you foind the moltessers? I've been looking and Amazon is a little pricy. I mean if I have to go through Amazon I will, but would like to find them in a store some where.
SORRY! Just editing my comment I did a minute ago. I was thinking of something else...We have seen them at our local Hy Vee grocery store before but these were snagged out of a This with Them box. I swear that we have seen them before though at Target and even try a little International grocery store. Good luck because we understand how pricey imported treats can be!
Fun fact...we are from the UK and in the part of London we live in we call 'Maltesers' Small Geezer's! Our family often fight over a Small Geezer's share box 🤣
We have what's called "shake shack" and its essentially the same. 20+ different chocolate brands that gets put in with vanilla ice ream with syrups etc. They have things from : maltesers, oreos. Mars bar. Twix. Aero, dairy milk. Crunchy, kit kat etc. Anything they have in a chocolate bar form. You can have in the shake. I only tried a couple (find them too thick and sickly). They also have fruit smoothie shakes xx
I think even if you like a product from another country, you will always have nostalgic feelings towards anything you grew up with ❤️❤️❤️ even if it’s not your favourite etc. it’s like your apple pie preference with ice cream . It’s how you have always eaten it , even though you like custard. While in the UK you more than likely grew up eating it with custard or cream , even though you also now like it with ice cream 😊❤️
Usually the shine is from tempering choc, maybe they don’t temper it for whoppers? I’m interested to know do you have a hot malt drink in the US made with hot water or milk? We have Ovaltine and Horlicks .. I’ve not really tried them as I’d go for hot choc but they’ve been around years. I’m thinking it may be something I could use for the malt shake you mentioned.
Never heard of Malteasers growing up in the Chicago area. Will have to be on the lookout for them. I remember the chocolate malt balls from Sears were big and GREAT!
There's no contest. Maltesers are awesome and it's impossible to eat just one. Whoppers I just can't eat. The 'chocolate' is crap and the interior is hard and sugary. If you suck a Malteser through a little hole in the chocolate then the malt will collapse and go gooey. You can't do that with Whoppers.
I’ve not been able to try both of those but we do have stores near where I live, just outside London, where we can get Reece’s chocolate bars and I don’t mean to be rude at all but the chocolate on those have a kind of sick taste to them, I guess we are just blessed to have Cadbury in every store. I really enjoy watching you both trying our candy… and crisps, it’s actually an eye opener to see how you compare them.
And the malt in the maltesers are honeycomb flavoured as well whereas the whoppers just have plain a malt flavour which I don't mind but only if the chocolate wasn't hersheys on the whoppers 🤢🤮

I can’t remember ever buying malteasers and I certainly would pick them when I’m in the shop. But, I thoroughly enjoy them when I do have them (if I get them as a gift or someone is offering them around) why is that?? And it’s best to just pop one on your mouth and suck. They don’t take long to melt and implode. Really could do a bag now 😂
,, 2 quick things, Malteasers were always a cinema favorite cos u can eat them quietly if u suck them until they dissolve,, as kids our Mum would tell us to do it too, when watching Friday nite tv sitcoms/w the lights out & Dad at the pub,, Secondly, we do a hot malty drink called Horlicks that's famous as a cosy sleep inducer,, and you've got me thinking, I wonder if there's anyway to make it from its powdered form into a cold product to then use in either an ice-cream sundae,, or a milkshake ⁉️🤔 ,,🕊️🤍✨✨✨🏆💐
You can get malteaser milkshakes from Shakeaway, if you happen to be in a city with them. They don't exactly powder the ingredients up, just... Stick the ingredients into a blender along with the milk, and ice cream (or frozen yoghurt, if you're that way inclined). Don't think I've done that one before, mind. (I recommend not going for the scone milkshake. Scones don't blend all that well.)
@@emmamaclean737 ,, of course they do,, with its classic red colors, it's usually with the Mars drink and the Galaxy milkshake, cheers for the reminder ! 😏

Crushed up maltesers on soft vanilla ice cream is delicious.

Malteesers are the Lamborghini of the two but there’s something comforting about driving that beat up old Chevy (Whoppers)

Enjoyed your video but would've been nice if you had looked to see if there was significant differences in the ingredients
I could literally eat Maltesers until someone took me away from them, never tried whoppers cos herm *cough* american chocolate...
WHopper sucked, dont even bother trying
Definitely Maltesers for me. Whoppers chocolate isn't as nice, the texture isn't as good and whoppers malt flavour seems less natural

Oh my gosh! So much so! x
I love Maltesers however would love to taste whoppers at some point in the future x
I’ve just only tried whoppers ones, they where strawberry milkshake flavour, sorry I was not a fan, Maltesers all the way if you know you know lol 😉

The chocolate has to be tempered correctly to get the shine.

One small gripe; you spelled Maltesers incorrectly: no A in it.
They did in the Title, just a misspell in the comment
