You can have high load or high brass in 2 3/4 or 3”. The two shells also come in target load or low brass. If you have 2 3/4 high brass you will need the high the high load gasket in.
When I put the high load gasket in it there was a lot of play and when I racked it it would fall out but the reg gas seal didn’t fall out, I just didn’t know if it was supposed to have play and move around when I put it in.
Anybody know what barrels fit these? I purchased one with standard stock and 18” barrel. I have been very pleased with it, eats everything I put in it. Now I want a 26” or 28” barrel for skeet. I think it would be a good guest gun for skeet sessions.
@John Lyons I had the same issue. Best I can tell it free floats. The other gasket had a little clip but the heavy gasket did not. Mine seemed to work fine with it free floating. If that makes since.
I need help, everytime I shoot it it will always shoot the first rnd and will cycle the next rnd, but the bolt won’t close all the way down and it wiggles causing a light primer strike or no strike at all.
Mine runs fine All I shoot is high brass #6 For rabbit and or squirrel hunting But i could see why low brass wouldn’t run good Because even the high end semi auto shotguns will have trouble running them also

I have this gun and the barrel wants to come a little loose after I shoot a round or when I push the button to close the action? Any idea on how to fix?
@@theallinwoodsman9151 I noticed that when you replaced the barrel retainer nut you put the smooth side facing the breech. I believe that the knurled side should face the breech. Also Jonathon Mills should check that nut to make sure it is tight as that could be the cause for a loose barrel. I just purchased the gun about an hour ago and am looking forward to having some fun with it soon.

That being said I do have some gun smith experience and am having issues with the light piston fitment after heating the gun up. Especially after 50 or so trap rounds it struggles.

@Gulf Coast Florida Man Of The Gulf Coast Yes it comes with the heavy load gasket/cylinder. You just have to install it cause it comes with the light cylinder in the gun. Hope that helps.

Richard I am looking into that. There is a grove on the lighter load gasket but there is not one for the heavy load gasket. So I am a trying to figure that out as well. When I find out I will let everyone know.
@richard crotts yes I have shot hunting loads through it the last 2 days and it seems to eject fine. just has to be high power loads. if you were to put in a target load it would not eject or cycle.

So swap to a heavy game load, swap out the sling mount, and she's good to go? Sounds like a decent shotgun especially for the price.

I was shooting 2 3/4 shell with the low gas gasket, should I just put the 3” in it and abuse it?

You are putting the "black ring "on upside down. The magazine sleeve has a detent that will correspond with the holes in the ring.
Thanks for the heads up. I realized it and flipped it around.
If you would take the barrel nut and file , hone ,sand etc. About 5 or 10 thousands off the side you forearm seats on it wll.stop popping

23/4 can be a heavy load also depending on what it is. i would consider any load over 1 1/4 ounce of shot a heavy load
and its pistons not gaskets

I have not had an issue with the barrel. My front grip comes a little loose after I take a shot. but I have not had an issue with the barrel.

That is something I want to try. But to be honest I have not had a chance to test it out yet. But I plan to try it soon.

Those are your gas pistons. Shooting heavy 12 go loads with the light piston installed, will beat up your gun.

When u change that piston do we need to put the metal gasket on the other piston?

@Richard crotts I have worked with it now and I did not move that little metal ring to the heavy load cylinder. It seems to free float a little more.

@@BoBTHEONE Yea the heavy load piston is supposed to be free floating as it needs to let out more gas so is looser fitting.
