Tenten doesn't really has talent. Or rather she does but she is horrible at life. She chose under her own brain power to master on and focus on the most useless jutsu in all of Naruto. Bukijutsu and not just bukijutsu. Sasuke gets by using a sword. But his abilities are used to enhance his ninja tool and not the other way around. No Tenten choose THROWING WEAPONS which legitimately has a worse track record than fire style jutsu. Instead of finding her a good man she chooses to ruffle the bean to Neji's memory. Not only is she older than Naruto without kids but she own a business that proactively loses her money. Never mind that they are in peace time. She chose a ninja related business no ninja needs. Especially since all of the newer generation of ninja are wunderkind who pick up jutsu like its running out of style.
Not even the same, worse, Tien had his screen time in the og DB, did awesome things and was even useful when he stopped Cell in Z, even when he was pushed to the side in that show. Ten Ten on the other hand, she was easily beaten in the Chunin arc, then after that, she got most of her little screen time in filler episodes.

It's more like Naruto is the mayor of the leaf Village. Generally speaking, Mayors( and I assume the hokages are similar) do not earn a very high salary. It is enough to live on, but not much more than that. Plus, Hinata probably manages all the finances of the Uzumaki household and only gives Naruto a certain amount of spending money each week.

It's been 20 years and I still wish that Tenten was given a proper and good character development, and specially more screen time. Team guy in general was just one of my favorite team, they had so much more potential than what was actually shown, especially Tenten. Also, I love her design right now! I've always liked her design, but this one is my favorite :))
Yeah, she was just the "girl of the combat team" basically. A third member to the very prominent Lee and the dude that was deeply linked into Hinata's backstory. I think she got like half an episode of backstory when she was searching for her ninja-style.

It's been 20 years and I still wish that Tenten was given a proper and good character development, and specially more screen time. Team guy in general was just one of my favorite team, they had so much more potential than what was actually shown, especially Tenten.
