This was one of the most insanely beautiful videos of BTS. It was beyond what they ever had tbh. Nothing can top it so far, not even Boy With Luv. They managed to make it even when they’re not exactly as loaded as they are now. That’s how talented they were, it was completely consolidated into Blood Sweat and Tears.

4:03 I love how Hugo and Gwen complimented Jimin on his voice. It made me really happy! Jimin has always been saying that he needs to practice more and improve his singing (he's kind of the negative thinker when it comes to his singing) so what they commented about Jimin on this reaction video made me really happy.

Thea Pablo It is kind of true. Jimin still needs to improve just some more because he really strains his voice, more than he should. This is not being rude, I'm just concerned as Jimin-biased. He might lose his beautiful voice someday if he keeps up with this. :(

It's okay, you're absolutely correct. He tends to fall back and use his throat in live performances, rather than his diaphragm, and it could harm his vocals in the long run, but his tone and range are stunning.
Well 1, SM is a huge and rich company while BigHit is still quite small.
Vocals and visuals and dance are all that SM has. I won't go into detail because I don't want to start a fan war.
Well yeah BTS almost disbanded in the N.O era coz they didn't have enough money to continue..
But now, they can even donate 100 million Won (approximately $85000) to the families of the sewol ferry incident victims so i don't really see how they can't have a vocal trainer now
Or maybe Homme (vocal duo from Big Hit / BTS' sunbaenim) could train them? idk
Also i miss Iris (their vocal trainer in BTS American Hustle Life)
I feel like they'd be interested in the symbolism of the pieces of art used in this video and how it relates to the theory of good vs. evil. My past art history classes made me go on a search as soon as this mv was released and they really make sense, BigHit really did their homework for this.
The painting Jin was looking at in the beginning is "The Fall of the Rebel Angels" which shows Michael driving the bad angels out of heaven.
The painting behind Jungkook on his swing is "The Lament for Icarus" which depicts Icarus after he has fallen and nymphs gathering around, mourning him.
The painting behind the balcony Tae jumps from is "Landscape with the Fall of Icarus" which depicts normal life and then off to the side, not even the focus of the painting, is Icarus plummeting into the sea.
The two main sculptures in the art gallery at the beginning and then placed behind them while they dance are "Perseus with the Head of Medusa" (the black one) and a sculpture of Demeter (the white one). The Perseus one represents evil here because the head of Medusa is uncovered, therefore able to kill others by turning them to stone. Demeter was the goddess of the harvest (and her Roman counterpart, Ceres, was also goddess of fertility and motherhood), so it represents good.
And finally, the statue behind Hoseok's water throne (the one that breaks in the end) is this weird, kind of cubist take on Michelangelo's Pieta. The original shows Mary cradling Jesus' body after he's been removed from the cross. Here you can clearly see Mary's form, but where Jesus should be it is just a figure of sharp angles. My assumption is that the non-Jesus part is open to representing the members "falling" to temptation and that the statue gets destroyed when they've given themselves over to evil (Jin kissing the statue).
And just a final thing, the doorways in the gallery are all black and white, and they really stand out when showing "The Fall of the Rebel Angels", good on one side, evil on the other.
I especially love this extensive homework BigHit did about the art pieces, Never expected so much from them

Lol, no, I just never saw it as the last supper. To me, that scene was all about the apples. I saw it as a reference to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The apple represents the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and the boys are about to fall to temptation by eating it, causing them to enter the world of sin.

I made these videos and the short films my college final work for the semester, It is one of my favorite final work until now hahaha now I think I'm going to choose to continue this work, go deeper in it and made him the final course exam - I stud Literature.

Suga/Yoongi Min is actually a musician of almost 12 years. He can play three types of pianos. Jin/SeokJin Kim is also a guitarist of 7 years.

Putting Yoongi Min is the westerner's way of putting it. It ooften irritates me that westerners don't actually bother to learn the name of a person different form their culture correctly and think that all cultures have their names written in the same way as their own. Min Yoongi is the correct form. Getting the person's name right and in the correct order is a respect of him as an individual and the culture he comes from. How about I reverse call Donald (his own name) Trump's ( his family name) name and call him Trump Donald instead? Of course if your name is Mirah Bitch, then it doesn;t matter i call you Bitch Mirah. Okay, so if you read the book Demian, it's about this person who looks into themselves and who changed them to become who they are. (In The book it's about this guy named Emil Sinclair, and the person who changed him the most is Demian, but Abraxas is the fallen angel who guides him). From what the BST video portrays, Seokjin is Sinclair, where Namjoon is Demian and Abraxas is Taehyung. The other members are people who have changed Seokjin into who he is today.
Jungkook represents the two realms with which Sinclair often finds himself in between. The evil world and the world of family and trust.
Jimin represents Sinclair longing for the evil world but finds himself drawn into the safety of the world of family and trust.
Taehyung represents Abraxas In the video, but he also represents how Sinclair is fundamentally split from his family as he is a man and is already drawn into the evil world.
Yoongi represents the way Sinclair is able to reflect in on himself and lead him back to the world of family and trust.
Namjoon represents Demian, the character with which helps Sinclair realize a lot about himself, but he also represents the world of evil, as Demian is a very mysterious and dark figure in the book.
Hoseok represents Sinclair's youthful love for Demian's mom, enjoying how much she and Demian are alike in personality and looks.
And finally Seokjin is Sinclair. Trapped in a world that Abraxas makes for him and leads him in, which is why his short video seems like a godly place.

+CiN, Nah I don't think Taehyung would be Demian, because Demian wasn't the one who introduced him to the dark work, it was Kromer who did that. So if anything, Taehyung would embody the idea of Kromer that Sinclair was so afraid of.

Totally agree. I've seen so many uneducated people repeating phrase after someone that Jimin's falsettos "aren't right" (and under BS&T video too!), but here are two singers say that his falsetto was nearly PERFECTION.

Whenever I show someone BTS, mainly just hear me listening to them, they always diss him and say he sounds like a girl. He may have a high pitched voice, and yes, they did say his voice was feminine, but they said it was better than a female's. Hence complimenting him.
(Edit: That made me extremely happy! One thing Jimin have in common, were both a little pestimistic. He should stop looking down on himself. He's such a talented, sweet, admirable, role model, adorable, kind-hearted human being. The best I can do is draw. Which I have gotten way better at since I last showed my art.. I personally don't find Jimin's voice feminine, just higher pitched. It's so soft and soothing. How can you not appreciate a human being has amazing as he his? And then you have people hating on him. He's basically starving himself, like, can people back the hell off?
Jimin is amazing, and knowing he's staying out of things, and refusing to eat because of some haters, is heart breaking. I haven't even been an ARMY long, but I've dug deep into the fandom already. Blood Sweat & Tears was my first song that I listened to by them. Just this one song, pulled me into the fandom pretty damn quick.
Jimin stole my heart so damn fast, it's not even funny. I feel bad for BS&T being my first song, since Jimin has said he thinks a lot of people like him in the video because he was dieting..? I can't remember exactly what I had heard. I feel bad because I fell in love with him in this video. But it was mainly that cold hard stare that got me at the beginning.
When I first watched the video, I paused the video just to find Jimin's name in the comments so I could learn more about him. There is a lot of people that actually were new in the comments. I was kind of surprised when I had seen that. But nonetheless, it's an amazing song, along with their other works.
I know there are people who like the sexy Jimin, better than the 'Chim Chim' Jimin. The cute little mochi. I will admit, I fangirl so damn hard when I see Jimin's sexy moments, but I love the cute, soft Jimin much more. His adorable aegyo, which he doesn't think he has or can do. I love just his cute smile and laugh. Literally, what is there not to love about Jimin? Oh yeah, his 'diet'.
(I personally like Jimin's pink hair in Spring Day'. I actually was not sure the exact concept of the song, ended up looking up the concept, and crying after reading it.. Is that weird? It's just sad that the song is about coping with death, and the reality of growing up. If that's even correct? I think it is..)

Jimin's Thighs girl, i feel exactly the same. Jimin completely has my heart in his hands. however i do see him as femenine. his voice is soft and melodic like a females and even in looks he has this mainly female innocence and sensuality coupled with a masculine allure. ive been a fan since 2015, but similar to you, i looked at him in Save Me and i was completely enthralled by him. im captivated by how he moves and dances. he's literally poetry in motion and he tells beautiful stories with his body and ive never been so hypnotised and entranced by a human being in all my life. he is such a beautiful human being, inside and out and i wish i had the time to count the ways and reasons why i love him. i love sexy and cute Jimin, just as i love hyped Jimin and subdued Jimin and angry Jimin and calm Jimin. i love all of his many shades and layers and i genuinly don't understand how people can look at him and make the decision to hate on him. he's beautiful. he doesn't deserve it. he never deserved it and never will. my heart broke when i found out he'd been dieting to the point where he collapsed, but i remembered recently when i watched him perform No More Dream and he lifted up his shirt and i noticed that his abs weren't as defined and his stomach looked softer. i realised that he'd put on weight and i swear i smiled so wide i almost split my face in half! 😂

I had previously shown one of my sisters, and one of my brothers BTS. My brother calls them gay, because he's a homophobe, and calls everything I like gay. And my sister was okay with it, a little 'meh' at first, but she defended me, so..
I personally just don't see him feminine. Maybe he is somewhat, and I don't see it. And maybe I like somewhat feminine guys.. I do call them pretty.. I mean, c'mon, they are beautiful human beings, especially Jimin.

Literally BTS is the reason I'm pushing myself to learn Korean. I kind of took notes, and remember a few things, but I still need to work on it. And understand words in Korean in general. I did get one thing right when I translated something on the side screen when BTS were on a show. It was 'aegyo'. Thank god I know that because of how amazing Jimin is at it. As an English and philosophy major from Vassar College decades ago... way way back in the dark ages before k-pop...I am doing cartwheels and shouts of joy at how BTS stretches our minds and causes the fandom to think hard, communicate, ruminate, hypothesize...and perhaps even read books to figure things out! Bangtan Sonyeondan, (as I learned last week in my visit to Korea, as the ONLY way people know the name of BTS) have brought enlightened music to all of us. The fact that it includes the joyful movement of bodies through dance and the happy teamwork of dorky and adorable personalities who are TRULY friends with each other ---and the fact that they constantly credit their fandom with success ---is the magical blend that drives how much we love them. I was at the Billboard Awards to watch them win and as I cried and was screaming, the people around me in that section were like, "what is this old lady doing??!!

I resonate with you Christina! I get the same reaction over here in the Phil for fan girling over BTS. But as a Comparative Literature grad from the dark ages, I'm just finally glad there's a group of good looking guys who can actually sing and dance and turn out INTELLIGENT music! And they love their fans! And they're humble! Hats off to BTS and the ARMY who get their music.

I think it's because people who study music and voice performance specifically, can easily pick out the flaws because everyone has things to improve on. That doesn't mean they don't respect his hard work.

I think they call him unstable because of his live performance :/ but I think those kinda videos are mostly from the early eras when he was still learning how to manage his voice on stage.
mmm k well the thing is Jimin focuses more on the color of his voice, and doesn't focus on actually getting support for singing. None of the bts members really have good vocal technique. It's just something they should work on bc Jimin especially could damage his vocal chords if he continues to sing and push out those high notes. Jin actually is more stable than Jimin. But the good thing is that all of them have amazing voices and jimin deserves all of the compliments on his voice because it's so beautiful and he's worked very hard to get where he is today. :)

neither was it Tae in this MV... his wings are not because of angels, Lucifer or whatever, but because of Ikarus (referenced as well in a lot of the paintings in the video) and it represent more about shattered dreams than sins or evil :P
If we where going to talk about a member being a fallen angel, that will be definitely Jin, because of the character that he plays inside of the whole Bangtanverse's story, after all, it was Jin who was tempted and falls into the realm of darkness with a kiss (wich is a way to close a pact with a demon to grant a wish in exchange of your soul)
Talking back about Demian, Abraxas was a God, but not any God... Abraxas is THE God (the one that took the materia within the chaos and gave it form in the reality using the ideas), Abraxas is the icon of the polarity and duality, good-bad, man-woman, light-darkness, archon-demon; creation, birth-death-rebirth, infinite loop, eternity, this are concepts related to this God; indeed, Tae's circle from the short films is the symbol of Abraxas and Fire is the way to invoque and worship this God, who uses a 3 pointed crown in the head (to represent the trinity of body-heart-mind/soul), a shield in one hand to protect and a sword in the other to punish...
In the context behind Demian's book, you can see this entity as the whole psyque of the mind-soul of humans... A lot of people still try to discredit BTS taking part in producing their songs and writing their own lyrics and I KNOW that they're still not at the level where they can produce one whole album by themselves but the boys do put in effort in doing what they can to contribute to the album and let us hear songs that covers issues about youth, depression, friendship, puberty because there are so many other things to write songs about except for love.
