Why do innocent people suffer? Why is there so much tragedy happening around the world?
When these questions fill your mind, be grateful. It means that you have a heart that is not numb to the struggles of your fellow humans.
There are many answers to these questions from an Islamic perspective, and each takes time to explore. But as an individual, the most important thing you can do is ask yourself the corresponding questions: When innocent people suffer, what can you do? What is your role? How can the suffering of others snap you out of complacency and into action to alleviate the pain of your brothers and sisters in humanity?

Of all the series I have listened to, the Qadr series has been so inspiring and uplifting, especially with everything going on in Falasteen, Sudan and elsewhere in the world. On a more personal level its forced me to reflect on what my purpose in this temporary life is, and that I am a steward of Islam and to do what I can, and say alhumdulillah for everything. Thank you to every single person at Yaqeen. I pray I get to continue to contribute and donate to such an important cause in our day and age...

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
I have been watching each episode and recollecting every inch of my existence. From the title it shows how much effort has been put into understanding the different emotions everyone is suffering. I have myself experienced trauma and come out stronger with the connection to Allah and may Allah make that bond stronger than ever. These episodes by Omar Suleiman have been truly inspiring alhamdullilah. A huge Jzk to everyone who has worked together to put these episodes together. Truly suffering is a means for us to move closer to Allah SWT. May Allah ease the pain for those who are inflicted with atrocities and may Allah accept our duas donations on their behalf. Duas for this sister as well to find a spouse who will be the coolness of her eyes and pious children. Ameen.

A girl who was raped in europe isn't suffering less than a woman raped in middle east.
No one symptom of a trauma goes away by thinking that another one has got worse.
It can help only in the mindset but it doesn't lessen the pain.
But also, we cannot quantify pain. Each one feel it to the maximum because Allah gives it to everyone to the last extend they can bare. And if it is more than he will give e you more strenght to balance it and make it bareable for you.
