Excellent video, I will miss KLM’s 747s dearly. I would love to see you do the same for BA’s 747s and Virgin’s 747s. KLM’s only remaining 747s are of course the freighters, PH-CKA, PH-CKB, and PH-CKC. When they are gone, it will truly be the end of an era for KLM.
Thanks! We sure miss KLM's 747s. Hopefully the freighters will stay around a little longer and keep the legacy. I'll try doing the same for BA and Virgin's 747s someday.
So sad to have seen these beauties go. I flew on the KLM 747s a total of 12 times when I was younger and they are the plane that got me into aviation. I currently have a fuselage skin section of PH-BFG on my desk lol
0:52 and 5:10 both City of Bankok 747 and City of Tokyo are showed. Funny thing is that they are in Infinite Flight. City of Tokyo has the 2015 Livery and City of Bangkok has the modern KLM livery.
It was the 747 used in for the outside shots during the take-off. But if you look closely inside the cockpit you will be able to find the registration-placard on the FO side says PH-BFB ;)
I will never forget when I saw a klm 747 in the late 2000s

Oh I didn't know that! Very interesting since I don't play IF.
"City of Freetown" I like it :)
Such a pretty aircraft!!!
2:42 klm ph bfi city of jakarta
My last flight in 2 march 2019 from Amsterdam to Jakarta
They were still young 😪
Real shame they got rid of them so early. It's all because of the rising fuel prices. :'(
30-20 year old aircraft are in no way young! They flew Millions of people. But you gotta keep up with time!
Can i do the same thing but with BA's 767s?
Sure! I'd love to see others making FHs like these.
Nice music I really love it🤩I want too see KLM 747-400 but it’s too late:/:(
Can i use that rubric for my channel?
Which rubric?
@@RetroAvi8or Fate of Airframes
@@ukraineballaviation1483 Yeah sure! I'd love to see more people making vids like this. :D
I always thought klm had like 3 747s or 4 but they have like 30 or something
I've noticed, Only KLM paints out their logo and name on the planes they retire, no one else does this.
I noticed that too. They even rename some of the aircraft after retirement, like how PH-BFL was renamed "Robert van Bohemen" for instance.
1:05 it’s klm 867
I like "City of Atlanta" one
Too bad PH-BFA was scrapped. Her delivery livery was quite special because she had the 1971 logo with the dark blue text. :'(
Only Air Force 1 707 did not share the same faith
I haven't ride one of KLM 747s. So sad they retired it.
Really sad indeed. I was hoping to get a ride on them someday, but then the pandemic crushed my dreams.
I wanted to the Qantas 747 sadly The pandemic lead Qantas' to retire there 747s
I think that this 747 is in the KLM cockpit tales when they went to sint marteen 1:38

I like PH-BFI
You can guess why
Your country's capital ;)
Well, they could be into cargo
Sad.
