I think for Tombstone addon's, instead of giving an instant kill prompt, they should give an instant grab prompt. From full health to straight onto Michael's shoulders and ready to be hooked. Then if someone is already at the 2nd hook stage, it changes to the insta-kill prompt on grab. The trade off for this downgrade could be that whenever someone is on your shoulders on their 2nd hook stage, they can be mori'ed. This way players can't deny the insta kill by jumping in a locker or on a gen, and you can still mori if you make a mistake and accidently down them first. For the Stalk running out problem, I think they could just make it slowly regenerate on survivors. It would have to be very slowly for balance, but that would solve it running out entirely at some point at least.
If I was to choose particular arrangements for a wishlist, I have a few things that would be quite cool and needed to really represent Myers' whole rework of ideas; They could add a randomising custom mode of the cosmetics to really put matches together that are go better. For example... Michael's mask, the eyeholes are so uneven but should match and lips actually depart on it if you're in a custom lobby you'll see it. They gave it the Castle Stretch but out of it all, the eyeholes mostly. Following on that if they added a random setting you could have H2 coveralls, RZ mask and the OG Lamson or H5 garden fork that he uses to kill Mike with. Maybe a collection set of the ghost sheet. Next they really need to change his animations, the walk when tier 2 and 3 is just Trapper and that makes Myers not at all unique. Should have his own animation set. His walk should remain more empty like he is in Tier 1 and not indicate how easy it is to verify whether he's brought tombstone for one thing and his breaking animation should be a single stomp on the pallet. Change his carrying animation to a signature neck grab like the Xenomorph carries them as it'll really show that '78 resemblance from the survivor's prospective while being taken to the hook. Make him at least blumhouse Myers height of 6'3. Make his stalking advantages endless Infinite isn't equipped as all the victims are exposed because it's his power so Make the survivors always stalkable. If to change his mori give him at least 2 where J tombstone or TSP makes him perform either the skull crush but it doesn't entirely show it to the players or him stab them in the mid spine then turns them to face his mask as the coldest stare and tilts his head right before impaling their chest. But if you bring a offering mori then because they on the ground he performs the H2O Sarah kill on the dying state survivor.
100% Agree with the lunge. Outside of a tier up, and dedicating an entire build to speed, Myers is VERY defenseless. Giving him a decent base-kit lunge would keep him true to source material (most important) while still giving him a boost in 50/50 situations that you have to work so hard for as an M1 killer on DBD in 2024. Loved your nerf-and buff-ideas, and i had some similar ideas,if incorporated differently,though: It might be a bit clunkier, but i would have given him the "obsession stalk bonus" just to fit in a bit with his lore and after using your tier three making the stalk refresh on the obsession. The addons i would have reworked as well are his other duration-addons,as the lower tiers are just downright aful for what they offer. Theoretically, you could exchange their effect for "lowering the stalk cap for all tiers by X" to make him reach tiers faster,but that somehow might make them feel mandatory. OR you just could cut their downside like in half and keep them. On the stalking speed-addons: I prefer to use "tacky earrings" as meme-addon to mock survivors, so i have to insist to keep them *smirks*
I am not a Longtime Myers player. I have a fraction of the time of dedicated mains: so grain of salt of what I say as this is more like a Casual Myers Enjoyer I love going against and playing as Scratched Mirror Myers- often called "Lore Accurate Myers" or Jump Scare Myers. and Tier 3 is amazing to play as. But these two modes are the ones you spend the least time in by default. That and in the movies, Michael is like this obsessed juggernaut that may be slowed down, but will not stop. I think the Tier system should be gone entirely. Instead he has two modes: Stalk Mode (Tier 1) and Kill Mode (T3). This is toggled by the Secondary Action button, or CTRL on killers by default. Right Click in Stalk Mode reveals Auras within medium distance (I think 18 Meters would be fair) and if there is a clear sightline, he "absorbs Evil" like his current mechanic. The difference is he can choose to activate it. when it fills up, you do hear the music but it's not terror radius, it's just a global. You need to press and hold CTRL for a few seconds in which your terror radius expands and your movement speed is slowed, and then you raise your knife and enter Kill Mode. When activated, he goes into T3 or Kill Mode. He's also resistant to stuns, blinds (like 25% decrease in duration) and vaults faster, but in exchange, it drains his "Evil" meter faster when he is stunned or vaults. That's kind of the baseline. Activation of Kill Mode Duration of Kill mode, terror radius, speed, etc, can all be adjusted I think that keeps the core gameplay for people who are fans of the current style of Stalking and Draining Evil while amplifying the two more fun aspects (in my eyes). Stalking and scaring survivors and running down survivors and one shotting them Someone told me that it feels like Ghostface with his exposed mechanic, but while Ghostface doesn't want to be seen, Michael doesn't care. While Ghostface can mark one target at a time, Michael becomes a threat to everyone on the map. And while Ghostface is clumsy and trips all the time (in the movies) Michael will shrug off damage to continue the chase. _____ Again, just my thoughts. It won't happen as the Devs will probably talk with the players who have 10K hours on Myers instead for advice (Which they should)
Halloween fan here! I love Laurie, I wished something would be mentioned about her hospital gown outfit from Halloween 2. Modify it for the games standards and bring it in! I think it would be a perfect outfit for the fog to relive her traumatic experience in Haddonfield!! Also Dr. Loomis is great for the game!!
