Experiencing the thrills of Amsterdam Dance Event - ADE Vlog 2023
In today's vlog - me and my best mates head to Amsterdam for Amsterdam dance event (ADE) - which is a week long music/techno festival which takes place in loads of different venues across the city.
We attended Adriatique presents X at the gashouder on the first night, which was absolutely amazing. The gashouder is definitely one of my new top venues, with loads of room to dance, an amazing sound system and a great crowd too.
What impressed me the most was the fact it was sold out - keeping the consumer in mind and leaving adequate space. Adriatique also played a great set, along with other supporting DJ's such as Ae;ther and Innella.
On day two, we explored Amsterdam and spent the day eating and drinking in the centre - getting ready for our second event: the Shen presents - Franky Wah Boat Party. This was a big one and we set sail from 9pm-3am with some more progressive house focused music. This left us feeling a bit rough on the Sunday haha.
Day three we were back at the gashouder for an awakenings event - with Kevin de Vries, Stephan Bodzin, Kolsch and Mind Against smashing it out the park. All of these sets were unreal and we were all in agreement that ADE, Awakenings and the gahouder were all things we would want to do again.
This weekend was one for the books and I'd encourage anyone who's thinking about travelling to Amsterdam for Amsterdam Dance Event to go for it!
