I love that the first thing the conductor says to a middle aged man busting moves on top of a moving train is that he needs to see his ticket.
sadly for Lefty, modern passenger trains don't have openings like that anymore - there is no way to exit the train while it's moving
Lefty dodging the signs is still one of my favorite parts of this whole film, in general this is probably my favorite scene
It’s my favorite scene too, like that is super awesome how he dodges those signs
It makes me sad that this movie has been forgotten for years. They hardly sell any copies and they only streamed it on TV one time. I watched this all the time when I was little, I still have a copy of the movie in my room. Thank goodness we still have movieclips for this, and thank you for uploading this, it helped a lot of us.
@@aliostrowski1935he said he has his own copy in his room
I think that means dvd as it came out on nothin else except being streamed the one time
I miss this movie, WHY IS IT SO FORGOTTEN
I guess it came at the wrong time; because 2006 was the year of everything coming to life; that eventually went forgotten. But at least with 75 minutes, it's still underrated; even more considering this was Christopher Reeve's only animated movie and gift he was making up to his death.

Ehh in my opinion the animation style isn't very memorable, same with the plot
When you see movies by like Ghibli for example, their movies are memorable for the animation and the storyline
I watched this movie when I was younger aswell, but when you compare it to other movies it's just not as memorable
2:53-3:20 my favorite part and the part he says oh yeah the kid's still got the moves
*groans and screams and gets hit and land on the other side of the train and running after you and almost fall and crash landed*
I used to be dead ass scared af lefty and mr. Cross for some reason, now there are actually the funniest.🤣🤣🤣
And Lefty is voiced by that dude from Shameless, Fargo and Jurassic Park 3 (William H. Macy)
that man looks kind of like kent mansley from iron giant well almost
Yeah when I saw Kent Mansley in The Iron Giant, it reminded me of Lefty in this movie 😂😂
2:54 he got ultra instinct 3:06
I really think that is what the budget from this movie went. They even didn't make the workshops near him.
Lefty might be portrayed as a clumsy slub, but considering he’s the official pitcher of the cubs, is in his mid 30’s and the fact that he was able to jump all of the moving trains, get a grip of the thin ledge and dodge all of that, just shows he’s actually the goat
@@alejandromoran332 can you imagine the ultra instinct theme playing during this
one of my top 5 favorite movies when i was a kid. i watched it repeatedly . it’s so underrated nowadays 😢
Fun fact: Lefty is voiced by the same guy who played Paul Kirby from Jurassic Park III: William H Macy.

@@anthonyshedd6411 doesn’t hurt that much, oh yeah it does, here it comes, OH my gosh!
@@lovelivetrainbee7618 I think someone should make a meme of this for Ulta Instinct from Dragon Ball Super!
What makes it funnier is that Lefty did the whole chase without his shoes.
@@SlenderPhantom47 Just fine. And I'm pretty much everywhere at this point.
Me: Can we go see Bullet Train.
Mom: That movie is rated R, but we have the G-rated version at home.

Yankee Irving vs Lefty Maginis ✅
3:40 That a SP GS4 Daylight running alongside the Hudson Streamliner
Daylight's a long way from home
Good humor back our days of the early 2000s
I like how Lefty gets hurt in this movie because he gets hurt more times than anyone.😂
Omg I really love this movie, I've been seen this in 2013 😁
So this movie WASN’T a fever dream?
I had forgotten this movie existed. Looking back on it, Lefty was a fuckin titan of physical prowess, yet he was constantly limping and was outmaneuvered by a child.
When it hurts so bad that your brain has to delay it.
Superhuman resistance, with overloaded with epinephrine.
That's how it does to delay pain. Ophium in the human tongue as a painkiller ingredient works as well.
I still can’t get over the amount of abuse Screwy took throughout the movie
Oh and how Lefty managed to dodge all that stuff while on top of the train
2:10
2:40
3:50
The animators really liked putting this guy’s face against glass, huh
I love that scene and the man he makes me laugh😂😂😂😂😂
Lefty is just a hilarious villain underrated but funny

I remember I had first watched this when I was in preschool also I just noticed that if you pause the video at 3:41, I noticed that the red train on the left was the Southern Pacific Daylight Express 4449 also they need to make more movies with these types of train chase scenes
And in the middle is a Milwaukee road f7 Hiawatha and on the right is a j3a hudson
ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN!
4:30 Woah woah woah, KA-POW! 😄
4:36? In real life, that would knock someone unconscious
Yankee just jumped from train to train? That’s very dangerous!
He must be Spider-Man. Despite this movie sharing the same distributor as Deadpool.

He may be a bad guy, but he’s got some serious moves
3:06 Breakdance moves vs Train signs

WOW! Look at Lefty got the moves

Now the old Penn Station depicted was not meant for steam locomotives due to pollution in the tunnels under Manhattan, While steam engines were used on the island mainly via carfloat most railroads running them stopped at the Hudson River which in this film kills the Station's original purpose.
@@csxriverlinecatches4736 i did. what in the world is it doing here? i mean, the animators probably saw it and thought it'd look nice here, but it's a Southern Pacific locomotive, meant to be running out on the west coast! how the heck would it have come to be in New York?!
@@Railman1225 it is 1932 in this movie, and the gs classes were built in 1937 most likely if it is still a southern pacific locomotive it is an mt-4 mountain type or if it is a one in the area it is a Pennsylvania k4 skyline
@nantania6521 Also steam locomotives ran in the West Side of Manhattan as late as 1931. They were used mainly for switching and there was even a roundhouse that stood at 60th St.
