I have never saw so many hoops used before.Just beautiful. This was so entertaining and exciting to watch. I have not seen too many female Hoop Dancers, but this one used symbols and shapes that just blew me away. This Dancer showed so much grace and skill that you could see the power behind the use of the Hoops. I liked this video very much.
I love the symbolic communication through dancing, its inspiring and uplifting. N a great way to honor our ancestors who didn't allow the evil doers too infiltrate the culture, and also its a blessing to cee the little ones on the side taking it all in. Peace!
I love this woman and her strength and courage. It's time for women to come forward as powerful competent spiritual beings. Ah ho and with love, from your white sister with soul.
It was a beautiful dance and she is talented. But the rest of your comment makes absolutely no sense at all. By "strength and courage" you seem to mean emotional/spiritual stuff. What does that have to do with a dance? A dance like this can be done if you practice a lot, and if you are young and have the physical stamina and vitality of youth. Nothing to do with "spirituality" which is a vacuous meaningless new age gobbledegook psychobabble term. Your comment about women coming forward as powerful competent spiritual beings is silly and makes you sound flaky and like a rabid feminist or a floating on the ceiling new ager. The dance was nice but don't make it into a religious experience. I hope you don't talk like this at your job.
at 2:20 that's incredible. Wow at 2:42 also. She's very smooth in her hoop creations, and I'd love to hear the story of all the shapes she's making. Nice ending :O)
this video is amazing and is wonderful...she went this all native american camp Indian Youth of America in the black hills and it was an amazing performance in real life...i like what she does at 0:28 that takes a lot of upper arm skills to do that :O
Kristine Maitland: Sorry - I forget the dancer's name. However, I do believe that she is a title holder for the hoop dance; this video is from one of her outreach tours with a youth group.
Just beautiful to watch her tell her story so beautifully. Mesmerizing and happy and holy. Thank you 🦅
She is so skillful and creative! All while spinning and staying focused and balanced. Wow!
