The Constitution affords all South Africans the right to see and hear what happens in Parliament.
For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take stories forward.
However, we will NOT condone the following:

The parliamentary officials basically sit in front of the Deputy Speaker writing articulate scripts on pieces of paper for him to read out. When the Deputy Speaker can barely string together the basics of parliamentary procedure for himself, in his own mind, and articulate it without script and on the fly, what hope is there for Members!!

EFF IS "NOT" STALLING THE VOTE, they seek amendment of the petition whereby the poor are represented in its ruling.
The EFF is part of the proceedings of that government "clearly" not sppreciated or wanted as part of that body. The EFF are a body of "guard dogs" to watch and protect the interest of the impoverished... to make sure the poor are being "included" in the political procrss.

The amendment has to be brief and concise. The chair person must use their discretion to decide whether the amendment is being that (brief and concise). As soon as background information and quoting of reports (that everyone has read) started, it would have been reasonable for the chair person to decline that they continue, or that they continue without doing that.

It's quite ironic watching the EFF through current day that they expect to be heard but refuse to listen. What is taking place in this video is "not" to "stall or prevent" vote but EFF's "right" to request a clause or "amendment" beneficial to "the people (the poor)" they represent in a pool of paranas whose interest "is not" benefical to the "have nots." It is known as a "political strategy." What EFF is saying, :they are not puppets. That, they are not there holding seats to be dictated by the will of the elites, then cast their vote in favor of the affluent, while EFF gets "nothing" included in the bill/document for their own.
