Cliff I agree with you that your area outside the blind is beautiful. I am like you I love to be in the woods with nature. Thanks for the great video. God bless you and Kaylee.
Spiritual for sure! Love getting my Marines out to actually connect with the world and help them with whatever may be on their mind. Too bad you couldn’t get the bear. HLB and a bear in back to back vids woulda been awesome!
Congratulations Zane glad to see that there are other New Yorkers that get that excited about shooting a doe with traditional equipment. Been hunting withe traditional bows since 1998 and homemade longbow since 2004.
What you need is a rock sling for your tripod. It's like a triangular hammock that clips on your tripod legs and you can put rocks or whatever is handy for weight in the sling. Birders and photographers use them when they are in a windy situation and need to steady their scopes and/or cameras. They are cheap, like $10. Only going to work if you have the legs extended enough.
You nailed it on time in the woods, Cliff. Our early ML season opener here was a wash out Saturday. My wife had a medical emergency Sunday. I'm really itching to get out. Gotta say adding drone footage is really a plus. Beautiful colors! That bear got smiled upon. There'll be other chances.
A sandbag tethered to your tripod base might do the trick and won't be as noisy repositioning. That articulating arm definitely makes it tippy. You have definitely got the honey hole there, even the resident flock of Canada geese.👍👍
I never thought I would enjoy hunting. I never really understood why my friends hunted. Then, one day, I decided to go. I never saw a deer, but just the sounds of the woods and the anticipation of seeing a deer had me hooked as strange as that may sound to some. The sound of gunshots off in the distance and dogs barking was a thrill, and to this very day, it still is. Cliff, that really is a beautiful area you have there. You did a great job cleaning that area out.
Hey Cliff you could use a sand bag(gun) for a counter weight for your tripod. Especially if it has Velcro strap. Then you could move it to any different leg of the tripod (for different angles). Congratulations on getting HLB. You are correct about being in the woods being spiritual. I enjoy it every time I get a chance to get in the woods.
Good deal Zane! Congrats! Bummer on the bear, they seem to keep on the move most of the time and keep them thinned out the corn growers in the area will thank you.
Great video Cliff, sorry about your luck on the bear but thIngs happen, congrats to Shane the doe recurve kill. The food plot you were at looks like a sweet place to sit. Headed up to northern Michigan to get mine and my dads stands set up for gun season. Suppose to rain the whole time. May have to do some duck hunting up there. Keep up the great content and good luck on your future hunt!
Cliff, did you see your broadhead blade was detached from the coupler, Maybe a good thing you hit the camera as the arrow might not have flown correctly. Great video BTW!
Did you get a PA doe tag? I'm muzzleloader hunting this week in Crawford County. Tough luck on the camera mishap. When you use an extension arm make sure it's directly above a tripod leg. It won't tip so easy.
Off topic. Are there beavers in that swamp? We have a property without much water, wet in the spring and fall but no real ponds. There’s been a ton of beaver chewed saplings on the trail up to 4” diameter. Kind of dangerous while I’m driving the side by side or walking. If I tripped, be like a medieval trap. Anyways, what are these beavers up to without water?
Absolutely the woods is my happy place.
Congratulations to Zane. How awesome is that to donit with his Great Uncles bow.
The Spirit of the wild is an amazing thing!
Couldn't agree more!
Cliff you’re absolutely correct about being in the woods is spiritual. No other place I’d rather be.
Hell yeah Cliff it brings us back to our ancestors. It’s more than spiritual. It’s our way of life. Congrats on your amazing harvest.

Almost forgot, recurve is some actual skill. I’ve got about another year before I’m ready for that! Congrats on the doe!
Time in the woods truly soothes the soul!!

Congratulations on HLB, I have enjoyed the past couple seasons leading up to the Harvest! By the way if you go AirBB on that last stand I'm in!
Beautiful area to hunt Cliff!
Thanks 👍
Looks like a park 👍
I think it would be cool if maybe next year you put a water hole in. Looks like you got options on where to place it.. haha
That would’ve been crazy, but one of those bigger bears would be totally awesome
Congrats, Zane!!
How about trying hard mount like used in trees topof window?? Good luck lookin forward to the bear
Nice doe zain,good job.
Put that blade back in place cliff but awesome incounter definitely enjoy your videos. Keep them coming

Those blinds are just like my millennium blind. Just not enough room for drawing a bow. Good for crossbow and gun
Someone owes us a few pushups..🤣
Congratulations Zane. Cliff, so looking forward to a bear kill.
Don’t worry you’ll get dialed in on a bigger one.
Lucky bear. Mabey you can get a window mount for cam

@@KEO__Vlogs, I'm up in Onondaga County (Syracuse area). We can finally use rifles this year for big game!

Yes, We have tons of beavers in the swamp.
I forgot how beautiful ny woods are to be in.
Id use the other window to film out of or do some sort of go pro mount on the out side of the blind
Good stuff you wanted a bigger bear 🐻 anyway 😊
You got that right!
Nice video of Bear, what chair manufacturer will be quiet? Been looking for some time now for my blinds and can't find one, could use sage advice.
The Tidewe blind chairs are fantastic. Thats what im getting for that blind.
Thanks, Will try one out! Keep up the great videos! Learn things all the time watching!
Congrats Zaney good hunt When you going back to Ohio Cliff .
Hoping to get back out to Ohio this weekend.
Quick question, what kind of tree did u plant in the plot? (The one in the tube)
That's a saw tooth Oak tree
If you look it was a blessing you didn’t shoot, your broadhead got bumped and the one blade was deployed already!
What camera are you using to film. Also the stand as well. Thanks.
The Sony AX700 and the stand is the Stump 3
Lol that stand just ain’t big enough for a bow
Did you notice that the Rage wasn’t seated properly at full draw?
Cliff have you gotten HLB scored yet? Congrats again!
He rough scored at 143
Can you take another buck this year or only does
Two bucks per year but he'll have to wait until gun season (3rd Saturday in November)
Way to keep the language clean after that! lol
missing that shot opportunity must be unbearable
Too bad on that bear!
