Love and light to you David and Yelena, 🙏 I have been doing this asana wrong for 2 years! 😮😮😮 thank you so much for talking us through it. I can not thank you enough. Could you please keep posting on all of the primary series asanas. Your post have been helping me and others so much. So from all the way down here in Australia, Gold Coast. Namaste. Terry
just recently came out with an awareness of posterior tilt / extend chest in almost every pose! glad that David mentioned the same thing, so I know I'm in the right direction, thank you!
Most of the time you guys mention soreness or a feeling that is not suppose to happen, I notice it is related to something I am experiencing. So glad I found this channel ♥️
Thank you! This has always been an awkward feeling position for me and what you’ve shared helps so much. I love the energy you both bring and the attention to detail that is so essential to each asana. And of course love Connie too!
This video helped me a lot. Took years for me to be able to do a haphazard bind. 4 years in the making? Now with your pointers, I can do it more consistently.
This pose is challenging for me... I watched the video, followed instructions, and voilà, I was binding on BOTH sides. No biggie. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Eduardo.
Wow, I'm glad I watched this. I've been following along with your half primary led series nearly every day for about a month now, and I can tell that I've increased my range of motion in Marichyasana C. With that increase in ROM has come a strange feeling in my guts when I untwist, and while it's shortlived, is rather uncomfortable. That "wringing" feeling that Jelena described is spot-on. Good to know that that's normal, and also is a reminder to not run away from the feeling, but feel it and not attach to it.
Hi, I am watching from the Czech Republic, as being quite new to ashtanga yoga, your videos are very helpful for me, explanations are clear, love it. 😊
Hi David and Jalena, I really, really love your videos. Please make a small one on Parivritta Trikonasana and Parivritta Parsavakonasana? I really struggle with stability in those.
Do you have a video on the dristis? For example, when looking over the shoulder should we look in that general direction or also turn our eyes all the way too?
Thank you for all the insights you share; very helpful for people who are practicing yoga at home 🙏🙏 I would love to see a tutorial on hip flexibility for men. Thx
Thaaaaank you ❤️ if, maybe you did it already, if, you have magical tips to work on parivritta parsvokonasana... Please help with it, this posture makes me crazy 🤪
Thank you so much for all your invaluable tutorials. I am glad the count change came up. It has always puzzled me why there’s a sudden change in counting. There does not seem to be any chronological order to it after a while as it just jumps to supta. lol If you can, can you explain this change in counting? 🙏🏻💕🇨🇦
Hi guys--I just did my practice and got a bit further and just had a better understanding of this pose/alignment!!! can't thank you enough--if felt really good to get more of a twist!
Dear David and Jelena thank you very much for this new video perfect as always and so useful and interesting for me. You are so good . Thank you very much again.GOD BLESS YOU. Cecilia
Love you guys!!! This video helped me a lot to understand the dynamics behind the movement. The position of the hip, grounded, the abdomen, slightly rounded and the movement of the arm. Very enlightening!!! Thanks!!! Can we expect something similar with marichyasana D?! Please!!!😅
David And Jelena, you're amazing! And I would like to add this for anyone who like me has a temporary misalignment in their body. One of my teachers Peter Sanson from New Zealand helped me understand this. Put your foot out to the side of the mat, not aligned to the outside of the hip but further away, and then go into the posture. At first after doing this I had to lie down for a couple of minutes because my hip tendon [I guess] would spasm and it was seriously excruciatingly painful. I could, I would skip it, and I'm happy that Peter kept me with it. I also had to help me arm with my other arm, only on one side the other side I can do easily. The spasms stopped and now I'm slowly moving my foot closer towards the edge of my hip instead of further out. Trust this helps someone. With much love. VM
Hey do you have instagram? I feel like you’re describing a pain I feel in my hip. It’s pretty painful and it often prevents me for wanting to keep trying this pose in ashtanga. I need details on what you did to help
I have a spinal cord injury in my thoracic region and am constantly having problems with compression and hyperextension. Any ideas on how to correct this?
🙏🏼 Namaste, I am grateful that the ancient wisdom of India and Hinduism ( yoga and meditation ) is appreciated and adapted all over the world now..

Thank you for Mari C & D, but would you do one tutorial for Mari B to clarify me some key points in which were taught by different teachers ??
