- A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carrying the Protoflight mission for Amazon’s Project Kuiper lifted off on Oct. 6 at 2:06 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Protoflight launch is the first mission in a broader commercial partnership between ULA and Amazon to launch the majority of the Project Kuiper constellation.

Feels strange to see Amazon logo on the rocket fairing...it's like Atlas V is delivering Amazon packages. Well it actually carried Amazon's items to orbit, but I have strange feeling.
That's why when Vulcan starts carrying KuiperSat's they need to paint it like an Amazon delivery truck 🤣

Tried and true Go ULA

It was amazing to see ULA launch a rocket, on the same pad in less than a month from each other... These guys wont be around in the next 3 years but ill never get over how cool their launches are... its sad they didn't invent in reusable like SpaceX while they had the monopoly for over 10+ years... Vulcan is a nice idea... but still living in the past.. RIP ULA... you will be missed.
Mmmmm, no, sorry to disappoint you, but ULA will be around for a very long time. They’ve got plenty of customers lined up and a heritage that is far more impressive than SpaceX. Why is it that you SpaceX geeks are the worst with your posts toward ULA? Am I sensing insecurity or an inferiority complex?
Whatever the case, you just look silly. Both are good companies, and SpaceX will not put ULA out of business. Vulcan will be a spectacular success. But glad you like their launches, they are cool I agree. Cheers.
Do you work in the industry?
@@Rocket_scientist_88 exactly, Space X will not put it out of business, that will be taken care of by Rocket Lab , it will be many years before we see another company launch rockets on a regular basis like Space X does, which has a major dominance today
They are building a weapon in space
