(this is kind of long but please bear with me I promise it's nice. and if you could let Aaron and Roni and even Nessa see this too that would be great... and I'm not asking this just cause I wanna be noticed I promise!!), It's literally 3 am rn over here in the Philippines. I should be SLEEPING but I'm just sobbing 😭 I haven't been a fan as long as most of the guys here, I'll admit that--but in the shorter amount of time I've gotten to see you, Aaron, Roni, Nessa and your family and friends, y'all have touched my life in a way I didn't ever expect it to. Seeing how genuine you guys are, and kind, and REAL you are is so amazing and a blessing and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we're grateful and blessed you're sharing your life with us. I've been dazzled and inspired by how you pour your heart out, Alex. How you find so much value in making other people laugh and smile. Alex's speech just left me to tears but Papa Burriss even more, I never expected how troubling it would be a new parent when a baby is born and tbh, I was a 9 pound baby and all the height still went to my older brother but it made me even more appreciate my parents for having a picky eater second daughter. I haven't been a fan as long as most of the guys here, I'll admit that--but in the shorter amount of time I've gotten to see you, Aaron, Roni, Nessa and your family and friends, y'all have touched my life in a way I didn't ever expect it to. Seeing how genuine you guys are, and kind, and REAL you are is so amazing and a blessing and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we're grateful and blessed you're sharing your life with us.
I've been dazzled and inspired by how you pour your heart out, Alex. How you find so much value in making other people laugh and smile. How even if you've been through a lot you're still here smiling as wide as ever! And as someone who strives to be optimistic and hopeful and to make people happy too, it's really inspiring. The same goes for Aaron--you both are just such truly kind, amazing dudes that LOVE so much. You guys reminded me that all this work on myself is gonna be worth it. And seeing your relationship with your siblings also inspires me to be a better Ate to my siblings (I'm the oldest, but nowhere near as great an oldest sibling as Aaron is to you and your siblings. The same goes for Roni and Nessa).
Watching your speech and watching you read your dad's speech MOVED ME. Like, I knew this was gonna be emotional, but I didn't think it was gonna touch my heart THAT MUCH. Like at some point I just LOST It and it was all tears throughout yours and your dad's speeches. It made me cry and laugh so HARD. You were absolutely amazing. Truly. I don't even know how to emphasis that more than just. saying you were incredible. AND MY HEARTSTRINGS TUGGED A LITTLE TOO HARD WHEN YOU HAD THE LITTLE MONTAGE OF OLD VIDEO CLIPS OKAY.
