When filters are vertical like that it doesn't hurt to fill them with fresh oil. Just helps in those low pressure issues waiting for the filter to fill.
just tried to get mine off today, one bolt broke for the plate and the stupid hose is rotted, i just changed it not even two years ago and cant get the nut to drain oil out... now what? get a sucker or replace the entire hose - prob both lol but i doubt its easy to replace that oil pan hose
That is a good question. I would think it would be safest to replace the hose, but that could be a nightmare. Let me know what you find out because mine is all rusted up too. If it's not to bad to replace, that is what I would do.
@@SeidelRanch i would assume i would have to drop the rear bottom skid-plate to access bottom of oil pan to remove the old one have to investigate tomm at the machine raining out now
Yeah what JD boy said and put the arms up in the locks out for Christ sakes makes it a lot easier to frog around with all that stuff. Easier to get the air filter check your battery electrolyte don't ever shut the machine off with the arms down and then drain the oil that's stupid.
Thanks. I put the arms up when I clean it, but I have not been doing that when changing the oil. I will try it next time to see how much easier that is.
My low engine oil light comes on when I sit on the seat, then once I turn it on it goes off. But today I turned it on and used it for about 5 minutes and then turned it off and now it’s just cranking but only the low oil pressure light comes on. What would you recommend?

Good to know. Thanks.
I like those solids you have on the skid steer.
Yeah, its great to not always have to air them up. We have mesquites on the property and they make all my smaller tires leak.
@@SeidelRanch what brand are the solid wheels and rubber?
@@ignusa749 It's these: www.mclarenindustries.com/us/en/solid-cushion-tire/skid-steer-tires/4/
What is the engine oil capacity?
I believe it's 9.5 quarts.
Where is the drain for hydraulic fluid?
From what I remember it's on the tank near the battery. Did you find it?

Where you add Hydraulic fluid can you do a video
It's right behind the right rear engine panel. See ua-cam.com/video/K33jyV5DpFs/v-deo.html.
Do you know the stock tire size for this machine? Stock rim width?
The original ones were 10-16.5.

I have not seen that issue before. I don't have a clue right now. If I find something you can go on I will let you know.
