His brother MARRIED Homolka. This documentary is such rubbish. Homolka is an EVIL EVIL bitch. The attraction between her and Bernardo was a SHARED interest in rape, torture and sexual abuse of young girls. The tapes showed her willing and enthusiastic participation in the sexual torture of Mahaffey and French. Even of her own sister Tammy. Her High School mates came forward and told about her dark fantasies and selfish selb-absorption. She was no damn victim and it is an insult to hers and Bernardo's true victims to ally her with them.

That first lawyer actually thought that he was going to get a huge Hollywood movie deal for using the tapes AFTER the trial. When Paul heard about the deal and wanted to take the stand and had to fire his pathetic azz.

He got her young manipulated her with sex and violence like Manson with his cult girls he killed her own sister and she still married him she just did as she was told if she didn't enjoy it she had better act like she did probably too he had told her about the rapes too she knew she was living with a monster and likely knew if he thought she would betray he would kill her too. She's living in Quebec now though with kids of her own volunteers at their school around other kids I don't think that's fair or justice though. Their case horrified me I saw Paul's picture on the subway in Toronto when I was visiting there and then I was about 16 when they finally caught him and the dead girls were close in age to me and Paul and Karla looked so normal. Then when I was 20 my boyfriend had known the Catholic girl in St. Catherine's too whenever I hear about it it's like a reoccuring nightmare not just what they did but the failings of the justice system too just glad Paul keeps getting denied parole wish we had the death penalty for him.

OMG! Karla offered up her younger sister to Paul because she was a virgin. She's as much of a monster as he is.
Apparently, she's been out of prison for a long time, has a kid maybe more and is leading a relatively normal life under an assumed name.
It's disgusting how she gets to move among decent people when she's a soulless psychopath. I don't buy into her being a victim to Paul for one second. At some point her sense of decency would've kicked in. Lots of women are needy but very few stoop that low to please their man. Not forgetting that she also got off on it participating in the torture and torment of innocent women.
She deserves life in prison without parole just like her husband's received and I'm sure the loved ones of the victims would agree with me.
Imagine if her child/ren ever found out who she truly was and how betrayed and revolted they'd feel.

Also, she "GIFTED" her 15 year old sister to him for Xmas and she died after the CLOROFORM the she stole from her work, a vet. All that was BEFORE she started luring girls for BOTH of them and French only was killed because she was "tired" of taking care of her BY HERSELF while he was working, still, she didn't let her go but ended up jealous and used the excuse of having both of them having to go to Thanksgiving dinner with her parents to have her killed. She didn't know where Paul hid the tapes so knowing that Paul could use them to prove her being the leader got her 'deal with the devil' as it's known here and pulled off the acting job of a lifetime. Sickos both but he never killed anyone before she came along and started running the show! I'm shocked that street justice hasn't caught up to her.....Yet.

After Tammie died, Karla wrote a letter to one of her friends, bitching that her parents spent her wedding money on Tammie's funeral. Karla acted like Tammie's death was more of an inconvenience than anything. She was as much of a psycho as her boyfriend Paul. Her 12 year sentence was an terrible insult to all their victims. The Bernardo case is so close to me. I live in Niagara Falls currently, was living in a nearby city called Port Colborne when it happened, and grew up in St. Catharines (the city in the Niagara Region where Bernardo and Homolka lived when they killed). I have been to the church in the video. Lake Gibson is the lake where St. Catharines gets their drinking water. An elder in my church I was attending when this happened was Kristen French's babysitter when she was young, although I never met her. And btw, a few weeks before his arrest, Paul Bernardo had legally changed his last name to Teale, and only asked the press to call him Bernardo again a few days after the arrest. So for a few days the press called him by his new name of Paul Teale.

It's great that she turned him in, yes, but she should have left him once she found out he had murdered somebody period. That would have obviously been the time to go to the police. She was as mentally ill as him. I think she should have gotten 20 years. Here in the US, she would have.

All I can say is everything I've seen and read about this story is that justice for all those beautiful girls was not found to make a deal with the devil like they did before all the evidence was found was wrong

It sickens me that Karla got away with what essentially was a slap on the wrist. Now she’s walking around under a new name, she should still be rotting in prison.

Imagine if it was Henderson’s wife that killed her and not him. The evidence didn’t prove that it was actually him, just that it happened in the house, the car etc. She could have done it, used his car. Then he goes to jail and she gets his money and property etc 😳

I DONT THINK SHE REALLY DID THiS
I’m saying “imagine” IF she did it.
I’m referring to the evidence, it didn’t point to him specifically and she’s the next obvious suspect. Like this twist at the end of a movie.

@@juliefennell2087- It’s rare for women to be found guilty of doing that. I don’t think it’s a rare for women to do it. Evil has no gender, race, or religion.

I was for most of my life, low self confidence, few life experiences and naive, but I can tell you now, I would Never have murdered another person, not even my controlling, abusive, self-indulgent husband. Neither would I have put up with his having sex with other women. Karla Homolka got away with a much lesser sentence because she was beautiful, and more than likely controlling in her own way. She got away with everything.

I am Canadian, and in the videotapes the police found, Karla Homolka Bernardo, was in them, helping him to rape and murder these young women. She was complicit in the murders, and when she was found guilty of manslaughter of Lesley and Kristin , the judge gave her the maximum sentence in Canada for manslaughter. 12 years and she was forced to stay in jail all that time. Since release, she has married the brother of her lawyer, and has children. They lived in Montreal for a while, until neighbours found out who she was. Don’t know where she lives now. Just last year Bernardo applied for parole. Thank goodness he was turned down. Because a psychopath like Bernardo will never change. You neglected to mention that during her time in jail, Karla earned a B. A., and an MA in Sociology. The taxpayers of Canada paid for that. No one consulted the citizens about her paid for courses. And like Bernardo, I am sure that Karla will still have that mean psychopathic feeling throughout her lifetime. Don’t tell me that anyone can make a sane person assault and record murders of young teenagers. I just don’t believe that.
