- In this video, Chris talks through the 2020 Rukka Kalix 2.0 jacket and pant. The old Kalix combination was a stiff and somewhat uncomfortable suit that had no venting whatsoever. It was also, in our view, a little overpriced. The new suit is nicer to wear as it’s made from a two-layer, laminated Gore-Tex Performance Shell. It’s much better vented than the old suit. And Rukka has lowered the price. What it means is that you can now buy a laminated Rukka suit, with a six-year warranty for the price of an ordinary laminated suit made by somebody that isn’t Rukka! Chris talks us through the good bits, as well as the bits that are not so good.

Your mum can be quite cruel Chris!! Another great review from the Motolegends team. Trust me the review of the Nivala was no waffle. Poor Chris needed the patience of a saint when I went to the shop for fitting!! Save the extra or get the great finance deal Motolegends offer and get yourself the Nivala. I wear the thermal liner as a stand alone jacket and still it draws comments as it's a pretty jacket in it's own right. Combined with the Nivala it's in a different league.
However I never bought the trouser to match. The Stadler trouser I found much more comfortable and protective. A bigger patch on the ass to give me more grip and a zip to match the pair together, both carried out by the team at no extra cost, I now have the perfect all round suit. Apart from the back protector. For a jacket at this price it should be to a higher standard. Just to buy the Scott pro waterproof jacket in yellow and I'm ready for any weather!
Good review thanks. I am thinking of buying the Kalix 2, looked for a comparison of both Kalix but couldn’t find. The strange thing is most companies still sell the older version for around £60 more then the new !!
Hey up Mally. What jacket you got? I have been searching and get conflicting opinions. I would like one that I ride without having to chuck on an oilskin on top, but don't wanna be too hat as I am a summer rider only. Hows Whitby?
I thankfully found and have watched many of your reviews, great work! Would you recommend the rukka kalix 2.0 over the klim marrakesh for a slightly cooler Canadian riding season?

Just got this jacket, after getting it home, I think I might miss a storm cuff on it, the current cuffs are quite bulky so getting it under a glove might prove tricky, will have to see how I get on without. Any what to tailor some in?

Im sure this is a capeble suit, but im not sure of the cut, it does look a bit shabby and baggy, it should be, imao, a bit sungger a fit. the jacket looks like its hanging and the pants look a bit Coco the clown. love your posts guys, and certainly not waffle. Id move out Chris find your self a girlfriend :)
