The best cast in a long time! It’s sad that the show can break you psychologically. I think the pressure of being there and outside expectations really gets to queens. Widow Von Do is so beautiful and talented, I was (and still am) rooting for her! Hope to see her in an All Stars one day
this was literally their first time in that showfloor. like there's been so many queens that look petrified on their first appearance there. they didn't even sweat ahhhh, this cast was something else.
Brita didn't deserve death threats from co-called fans. Those people can't even call themselves fans of the show that teaches us love and empathy is what matters! Same goes to Widow - people have nearly bullied her into quitting drag - HOW COULD THEY?! THE TOXIC FANDOM NEEDS TO STOP SENDING HATE!
I didn't know any of this. They most likely got that backlash because they were the only cast members who sometimes behaved in ways that could be considered toxic. They both seem to regret it, though, and they also didn't do anything that could really damage somebody. This competition can bring the best and the worst of people. I'm glad this cast was healthy and fair 95% of the time.
Brita was a lot with her distaste for Aiden. But to be fair Aiden had some moments were they weren’t doing a lot and could have been perceived as not trying. Widow got negative, but this is a stressful environment. It can affect your mental state. I think that is what happened to both Widow and Brita. However, one thing that should be noted about both queens. They are black. The toxic side of this fandom has shown countless times they are racist and they aren’t afraid to make it known. When queens get hate like this they are OFTEN darker skinned queens and it is ridiculous that within a show that only exists because of a black queen that the fandom exhibits this behavior. It makes me absolutely sick.

But in all honesty I think in the context of Drag Race her lyrics were actually pretty good but possibly everyone else just brought it at an above average level. Did I make any sense there? 😂 Like if this was Heidi's verse in almost any of the final 3/4/5 songs I would be like, oh fierce slay. I'm way into comedy queens and that side of the show in general and I think, despite there having been many very talented dancing queens on the show, Heidi was the first one where I actually mesmerized watching her, like she moves so fluidly.

I didn't know any of this. They most likely got that backlash because they were the only cast members who sometimes behaved in ways that could be considered toxic. They both seem to regret it, though, and they also didn't do anything that could really damage somebody. This competition can bring the best and the worst of people. I'm glad this cast was healthy and fair 95% of the time.

Brita was a lot with her distaste for Aiden. But to be fair Aiden had some moments were they weren’t doing a lot and could have been perceived as not trying. Widow got negative, but this is a stressful environment. It can affect your mental state. I think that is what happened to both Widow and Brita. However, one thing that should be noted about both queens. They are black. The toxic side of this fandom has shown countless times they are racist and they aren’t afraid to make it known. When queens get hate like this they are OFTEN darker skinned queens and it is ridiculous that within a show that only exists because of a black queen that the fandom exhibits this behavior. It makes me absolutely sick.

@@sugahbabe88 I kind of agree, her choreo was untouchable but her lyrics themself were weaker to me from a technical stand point. But in all honesty I think in the context of Drag Race her lyrics were actually pretty good but possibly everyone else just brought it at an above average level. It was such a tight performance overall so Heidi's performance which may have stood out in another challenge possibly comes across as a bit weaker in this one specifically?

I still can't believe people don't talk more about Heidi's dancing and choreo skills. I'm way into comedy queens and that side of the show in general and I think, despite there having been many very talented dancing queens on the show, Heidi was the first one where I actually mesmerized watching her, like she moves so fluidly.
