I capture lots of footage during my filming, and I wanted to share this separately: no narration, no music, just pure raw screams of the supercharger forcing air into the legendary LSA 6.8 liter 416 V8 powering this 2010 Cadillac CTS V.

The Cadillac CTS-V is a high-performance version of the Cadillac CTS. The CTS-V series includes three body styles, all of which feature a pushrod OHV V-8 engine and a sport-tuned suspension. The four-door CTS-V sedan was introduced in 2004, and the CTS-V sport wagon and coupe were introduced in 2010 for the 2011 model year.
The second-generation CTS-V sedan, coupe, and station wagon were sold through 2014, concurrent with the third-generation standard sedan until the third-generation CTS-V was ready.

Amazing. I’m still just gobsmacked that a Cadillac can sound like that. Just seems completely out of character that a previously defined luxury model, known for super quiet and comfy ride quality, can be turned into this fire-breathing dragon! Not to say I don’t like it…I do.
You can pretty much make any American v8 sound like that, just need an aggressive cam and headers

Hey man see those NH plates! I’m thinking of getting a 2011 BDS coupe posted FS on the ctsv owners forums. Problem is I’ve never driven one, always been a bmw guy… M3s etc. I’m in southern NH let me know if we can link up I’d love to check one out in person
