A new documentary that explores the legendary actor/director Orson Welles links to Dublin which have gone largely undocumented and demonstrates that his formative time at the Gate Theatre contributed greatly to the performer he would become. He was 16 years old when he came to Dublin. He'd arrived in Galway from the USA on what was to be a European art-tour but he decided to go no further than Ireland. A chance meeting with a young actor resulted in the young Orson arriving at the door of the Gate Theatre.

I'm fascinated with Welles and this two parter has been very useful, thankyou for posting. I would have thought there would have been more people keen to view this material, it deserves to be more widely seen.
