great thank you for information can I ask what programme you use for printing your prints ? I used Cricut design space but can only get one print each time. thank you
hi, thanks for your info & video i'm trying to do my mug printing in a Epson XP400, but i'm getting the mug printed in Yellow! is not transferring the full color, can you please give a hint on what i'm doing wrong?
Yes I did use photoshop, but since then I have also been using Inkscape which is free, check my Inkscape tutorials so you can get an idea of its capabilites.
Hi! Nice mug! I just wonder how you can make the colors vibrant? Mine is a bit grainy and I really wonder why. I'm not sure if it is the picture I'm using, the printer or the mug press technique? I hope you can help me 🙂
There are several sublimation forums on Facebook where you can post pics of your problem and find solutions, its difficult to say what could be your problem without all the facts.
Hello. I was told to put am extra page around the mug, between the sub print, and the mug press. I see you didn't do this. Does the ink not transfer also to the mug press?
Thanks for pointing that out,I do use a sheet of paper between the mug and the press it makes it easier to hold and take it out as well prevent the ink from transferring to the press,I had to go back and look at the video,I guess I forgot to film it.
No I am afraid it won't work with regular ink. Here is a link for sublimation inks if you have an epson printer but check to make sure you have one of the models listed.amzn.to/3k8HvGV
Thank you for the information, however I'm having real problems trying to print onto mugs using my photo's. They are coming out dark brown and no vivid colours. I'm using and Epson sub printer and CO-Z 8 in 1 press. I've tried using various heat settings around your recommended settings but it always turns out the same way. I've used about 12 mugs and still can't get it right. All items are good quality sublimation supplies. Have you any ideas?
What ink are you using did you check to see if they have an icc profile for it? Is the paper looking scorched? If so the temperature might be too high. Each press is different you can try lowering the temperature or the amount of time in the press.
@@over60crafter Hi, Thank you for the reply, I was using the ICC supplied with the printer (Epson E2714) But no matter what I did they all turned out the same. I was using Photoshop CS. So I tried Affinity Photo and everything is now working fine. Really don't know why PS would not print OK as I've always used it to print my photo's.

Do you know of similar software to the sawgrass creative software that I can use with my EPSON 4700 printer? I assume the sawgrass software requires the user own their printer. Thank you!
It will all depend on the press that you get some come with added attachments for different shapes of mugs. You can also try mug wraps I have tried them and they work great. Here is a link in case you are interested amzn.to/2QsrCOU

How did you keep the transfer tape from leaving marks on the mug?
If you use heat tape it does not leave marks.

Good mrin. 2 u, pls what if i don't have mug presser can i use pressing iron???
You can use something like this amzn.to/35vEQDt it's a mug wrap you don't need a press but you do need an oven.I have tried this and it works great.
hello there. great video! i was wondering if you have to leave a white frame around the image in order to tape it ?
I left a bit of white at the top and bottom but experiment with your press you may be able to go right up to the rim with your print.

You did it correctly you have to heat it up before inserting the mug, seems like you got a bad one. I would suggest returning it if it is not working.

Hi! Nice video.
I will be converting Epson printer into Sublimation printer!
These are microwave safe right?
Mines are microwave safe but be sure you check your manufacturer, although it should say if they are microwave safe or not.
Will the ink in your link work for an epson eco tank printer?
Sorry I can't say as I don't own one.
11oz or 15 oz ???
11 ounce
Is it the light heat transfer paper? Plz
I use textprint as I own a Sawgrass printer.
I did a mug and where the black is it looks brown why is that ?
Could be several reasons, ink could be old,not enough pressure.Have you tried it on polyester to see if the black ink is printing correctly.
