Its getting really good feedback for reliability, so much so that my friend sold his really unreliable BMW, which was costing him a lot to keep on the road, and he has now bought a DS5 and absolutely loves it.
I just bought this car. (2nd hand 2013 version) An auto version with all the spec as per this video. A beautiful vehicle. Very fast and smooth. Good mpg aswell. As per one 4 year old Comment on here the cup holders are non existent and due to the age the excellent in car entertainment system isn’t up to scratch. (Will play iPhone audio and Spotify etc but won’t display the tracks etc however mine is 2013 so I’m sure they’ve sorted that now). Has a sport mode which, as in most cars does pretty much nothing but the car has very good acceleration and good control in semi auto mode. Awesome review and car!!
Love my DS5. one of the best cars I have owned, one of the best looking cars on the road, inside and out. Get so many comments on the looks, Rear view mirror is awful and it is a bugger to park. Subbed for a great review. :)
i have a ds5 sport lovely to drive and to be seen in mine is the semi-auto 2ltr deisel its loaded with everything and for the price a steal,yr old £15.500 55mpg motorways and around 43mpg A roads
anythingyouwant29 they may not be the worse for reliability but I've owned one, and it has electrical faults several times. In the end I got rid of it. Such a shame because by far it was my favourite car (until the usual citroen problems occured)
I think thats probably the reason warranties only go so far on all cars, normally covering the first 3 years for reliability. After the first 3 years anything goes on all makes and models. Makes me wonder whether all cars are purposely designed to fail after a few years. Its even worse when it comes to super sports cars. A sports car is like a beautiful american blond girl from LA, VERY high maintenance if you want to keep her.
anythingyouwant29 I'd agree with what you said, but weirdly enough despite having electrical problems with my previous model, I've yet again decided to get another one. I do absolutely love these cars, they are like nothing else on the road right now. I have taken out extra warranty which I believe to be a wise choice. I do a fair bit of motorway driving, and my current car (Nissan Juke) just sounds like I'm killing it when I do 70mph. With the citroen DS5 it was fantastic.
These cars are now well established as very reliable, many doing well over 100k miles without any major issues.

Sad. BMW man? The DS5 is unique, not as common as catsh^t, that why it turns heads.
Maybe a street where they appreciate good design over badge snobbery.
Maybe 5 years after your comment, you realise that other cars still look dull compared to this?........

Good review! Really wanting one of these but they are so expensive and being Citroen (French) you aren't exactly getting the reliability factor!
? They are very reliable cars. In fact the AA statistics show the most unreliable car in the UK is Mercedes.
