Thank you ma'am for this wonderful video. I always had this question in mind... How valid or substantial is research in English literature? Especial in country like India, where already students of literature aren't getting good or quality education required for a literature student of all levels including BA, MA, and Ph.D. I won't say that all universities or teachers are bad, but majorly studies in literature are lacking in depth knowledge. Once an assistant professor in a central university told me and our batch that English literature is a poor choice and literature doesn't serve any knowledge. She perpetuates the same belief repeatedly to every student and in every discussion which is very negative. Can you please make a video on this topic? It will be extremely helpful for all students of English literature. It will also allow us to understand its scope, and practical use.
