I will never understand why ragneri was sacked 😢
Leicester were almost relegated the season after they won the league
@@abdulraheem468almost
Same reason why Potter got sacked at chelsea shit in the league good in the champions league
ikr, i get we were 14th in the league but the champions league was the main focus, the most shocking thing is that it took us far longer to sack rodgers
@@mipqn223 yeah
Ranieri being sacked after winning the league miraculously is literally like ea fc 24
Yeah, guess the game isn't that unrealistic after all hahaha
Schmeichel is one of Leicesters best players ever
True
Sad he left last summer
@@nzeditz5812yh probably wouldve stayed up with him
@@sumfrostyice Can't believe they didn't properly replace him and played with Danny Ward
@@kyufuyuvbvbllymjnncuhuhbuh7538 yh
Still baffled by Leicester decision to sell Schmeichel. He's a legend.
im pretty sure they wanted him off the wage bill so bad they decided to sell, they got 1m for a nearly 40 year old man.
just a shame that near 40 year old man is a world class keeper
@@zoenszoen he was only like 35. 😢
Schmeichel is a club legend but during his final year he was at fault for a lot of our goals. Age is definitely catching up to him now.
@@smokeyj3828 you needed good back ups waiting in the wings, when schmeichel, you never had a truly like for like/worthy replacement. same for fofana, you can even argue kante, mahrez and vardy during his last 2 seasons
@@zoenszoen replaced him with Mads now, potentially could be better than Schmeichel.
two things i have to say about leicester:
1. claudio being sacked is horrendous act
2. when leicester were in the ucl qf, atletico gave so many fouls, especially in the box but the referee, of course, was blind
I disagree with the first one and agree with the second one , Leicester we’re literally so shit that season and were near the relegation zone
Also the penalty they scored in the first leg should've been a freekick. The foul was at least a yard outside the box
I disagree with the 1st one altogether Leicester have a normal run in UCL knockout stage they were focusing on UCL more than in premier league because of that they are about to get relegated, so thats why they sack him in order not to get relegated
He was sacked because we were bottom halve of the table and he kept rotating the squad and using different tactics and positions. It was like he was experimenting and not actually finding the solutions
First one i disagree it was a fair decision sadly but its bc we had hight expectations after winning the leauge and we didnt do so good as our expectations
For their first run on Champions League, they did great
Claudio being sacked was so dumb absolutely no belief in someone who just made the most legendary run ever in a PL season I thought it was disrespectful even tho I’m pretty sure he was low in the PL at the time
We were in or near the relegation zone (can't remember) and he needed to go
Because we were bottom halve of the table and he kept rotating the squad and using different tactics and positions. It was like he was experimenting and not actually finding the solutions
@@MegaPoyser true I do remember that , but I still thought it was disrespectful bc without him they would’ve been doing that anyways the previous season
@@MegaPoyserits time to stop
@@dochouse_ what do you mean? I only made one comment
Claudio was unfairly sacked. I think there was a chance for that squad to do more under him.
What a finish by vardy
Leicester fan here, not criminal rainieri being sacked. We’d have gone down with him in charge as sad as it was to see him go. Also, we were robbed in Madrid - never a pen
You'd have still lost on away goals - Ranieri being sacked was criminal, the side were relegation favorites the previous 2 years and he was sacked for being in a relegation 'battle' - what were you expecting having lost the two best players in the team while having to play European games? It was almost as bad as St Johnstone sacking Callum Davidson after he won the cup double the previous season
I remember this I still have it in my scrapbook
Ranieri got sacked because they were playing atrociously in the prem. It was a justifiable Decision
i will never forgive the ref for giving that griezmann penalty
That was still a pretty good champions league run
Thats why im glad atletico got owned by madrid cuz i seen both games of Leicester vs atletico and the fucking referee did not call any fouls for Leicester at all.
As an irish Leicester city fan I'm happy u shared our story with the world
funfact: griezmans penalty wasn’t a penalty as he was fouled outside the box so if there was a better ref they might have made semis ! still remember watching that game in the barbers
I mean when Leicester got promoted in 2013/14 with 102 points. Premier League 2014/15 they were bottom little I did I realise I said there could be a miracle happening they went to win 7 games out of the 11 remaining games and stayed up. The 2015/16 was a fairytale I mean Leicester City Champions it was unreal but their champions league run was good too they reached the quarter final only just to lose to Atletico Madrid. Followed up with two decent seasons then two fifth places. FA Cup and Community Shield it was a good year for them 2021. The 21/22 was ok they reached semi finals of ECL. But 22/23 it suddenly changed and got relegated and honestly speaking they were in bad form but think they will bounce back straight back.
atletico robbed them, too many fouls in the box that they made and theres no way that was a pen, it was outside the box
That’s actually interesting
Premier league club owners after the manager wins a big competition (Ranieri, tuchel, etc)
It's sack time!!!
This is why nobody likes Atletico
Ranieri's magic. We'll never forget. Congratulations, Sir.
I remember that penalty that Athletico were awarded in Spain. The foul looked like it started outside the box but continued into the box.
No VAR then of course.
rip craig shakespear
Sacking Ranieri after winning the Premier League with Leicester should be considered as a t3rr0r1st act.
Not really the man was awful that season in the league and the club was on the brink of relegation
One of my friends from Leicester. When Leicester drew Sevilla, I said that I'd wear a Leicester shirt everyday for 6 months and take a photo in it for him each time IF they beat Sevilla. Basically I was saying that they have no chance. And naturally of course, they not only won but deservedly too. I had to suck it up and buy a Leicester shirt 😂
The dream never died, y’all just woke up and started following boring clubs.
He dived outside the box and received a penalty. Blatant cheating by UEFA
So rangeri got sacked even after winning the league and ten hag hasn’t been sacked yet???
2016/17 UCL season was wild
AS Monaco and Leicester
Baffling that the sacl Ranieri for winning the league while being realistic that Leicster squad had no right even being in the top 10 so why sack him for meeting realistic expectations.
Dam
Spurs champions run was a bit unprecedented but we don’t talk about those things
And the thing is the Pen that Grieziman got wasn’t even inside the penalty box so it could of ended a lot differently.
I dont like Leicester but I wish they could win the cl un the next 20~30 years
Don’t think many people forgot about this…
Never a pen still pissed about that decision
They had a great ucl and prem run ik n 2016-17 amazing
We haven't forgot anything in Leicester about this fantastic year
wonder if we kept claudio could be have had a decent chance of getting to the final
Better call Saul
They did the manager so dirty😢
I reckon our manager will be sacked halfway through next season if he ain’t then I’ll be suprised
if your talking about enzo, then this aged horribly, in enzo we trust
I didn’t forget it. Their title defense season was bad but they put up a great performance in Europe I remember very vividly. I hated how they did Raineiri
Athleti fans singing Leicester might be the highlight of my life ngl xD
they know how to beat copenhagen unlike us
I'd like to see Real Madrid vs Leicester City in 2016/17 Semifinal instead against Atletico
I mean then Leicester City was a great team and they should know that they done so well and I hope Leicester City in the future do the same after championship
I will always remember the day when Leicester won the FA Cup in 2021; they packed a Rangers pub in London and because we had just won the league in Scotland by 25 points, we all celebrated together and had a brilliant time 🇬🇧
Put some respect on our name
If the refereeing was better on the QF,we would probably see this Leicester City go against Real Madrid😢And that's one of the most freak of nature Real Madrid team had ever seen
Ranieri should have given some more time 😢. Bro literally won the premier league... Many managers stay long with clubs even without winning all
claudio ranieri sacking was the primary problem for down fall.
Amen✝️🙏✝️
What’s wrong with your voice
he has an accident idiot
Never a plenty
Wtf Bruutch? 😂
I never forget! All great!
Woow
🌳- 0 vs Brugge
"They won their first 🌳 games"
Worth mentioning Athelticos peno was never in the box
If they had of done it that would be the greatest miracle in the history of football better than Greece winning the 2004 Euros imo
As a Leicester city fan I am still picthing myself
And now they a running to the 1st in the championship
I always bear in mind about this run
Bro its not lester its LEIcester
It’s pronounced as Lester
He really messed us up after we won it !
You forgot about Leicester City's Europa Conference League run.
Now thats actual forgotten, not clickbait
Why is easywithaces the narrator lol
Why was Raneri sacked I will never know
You don’t know football or history then.
@@PungentBundaNo it does not mean that Leicester made the mistake of thinking they where a big six team now and where a big club and would challenge for the league every season instead of staying humble like they should have Raneri was doing fine and should have never been sacked
you have no clue what you're talking about@@l30362
@@l30362being in the relegation zone is totally fine
@@l30362you do understand ranieri the following season Leicester were in the relegation zone but doing good in champions league so they had to let him go in the prem
We love Leicester 😢
Its sad to see a team like this get relegated
Dollar store John Nellis
That's an astonishing achievement 👏🏻 but the audacity to sack the manager is beyond madness 😳
they maybe shouldve given him until the end of the season but tbf leicester were fighting relegation that year
Good run though
it was a very good try
"Grizman" 😂
Tree nil💀
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can you pin me for no valid reason?
no.
no.
no.
Big team they beat😂
People expected them to qualify from group, hence why its not spoken about much.
Disgraceful club. Deservely to be in the Championship these days. They sacked a manager that made them champions on a 5000/1 chance. They started trippin they are Bayern.
They were going to be relegated if they didn’t sack him.
@marijanatanovski8358 stop talking shit dude, you're a fkg disgrace for that trash comment. 😂
Because we were bottom halve of the table and he kept rotating the squad and using different tactics and positions. It was like he was experimenting and not actually finding the solutions
So much players from that team of Leicester city went big
Kante went to Chelsea
Mahrez to man city
Schmeihel to nice
Just unforgettable
7 comeint
Leicester were robbed vs Athetico.
