I was a child and my mother (who died of Covid in March 2020) used to listen to this in South Africa in spite of the fact she was French and my father Belgian .
I have still the LP in my collection with many others like Aznavour, Brel, Dalida, Elvis, Pat Boone, Jim Reeves, etc.
May she rest in peace. I lost my grandfather (who I lived with since I was in 6th grade) in April due to covid. We would always listen to these songs. Dean Martin, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day. In a way when I listen to these songs I feel connected to him somehow. I miss him dearly, and this music is something I can hopefully have forever/
