I strongly doubt this vinny person is real.
A real person who does this only ends up feeling better for leaving his comfort zone, but that doesn't mean he becomes received well for exiting his comfort zone. Vinny is a fake character and ending this story with fake success is just disingenuous. Reality is vinny left his comfort zone, got nowhere anyways and just feels better about himself that is it.
