Gaga was excited to be interviewed by someone she knew and just being professional and answering questions, the interviewer in red gown was just excited to interview Gaga who she knew, Zendaya was probably a bit shy and didn't want to interrupt the conversation between them and can't get the right timing. It was nobody's fault.
I like this perspective. Sometimes, when we’re looking at a situation on the outside: people can be quick to find fault with others when something goes wrong, conversationally.
8 years later and now Zendaya is a huge star. Starring in Euphoria, Spiderman and The Greatest Showman, with Malcolm and Marie and Dune coming this year.

Wow. Are you guys serious? Gaga clearly was alternating between looking at Jenna and Zendaya when she was speaking. The only reason she didn't say anything to Zendaya was that Zendaya didn't say anything at all till the end and stood to the side. (It didn't help the camera left her out too.) She also said "Goodbye everyone!" which wouldn't make sense if she was just talking to Jenna. Still, I do feel bad for Zendaya at the end. She was just all "Nice to meet yo-". XD
