Shane - Thank you! I'm not a printer tech, and only got lost trying to follow Datamax's Instruction. Only 3 minutes of watching your video and it's "wow, that's it?, that's simple". I've shared the video to all the techs in the company, and their comments are similar. Thank you!
I have Datamax M-Class Mark II and my printer says at the end of calibration process "GAP MODE" in 1st row and the in 2nd row it shows "Cannot calibrate" and red light blinks. Any idea what coud it be?
good night, very good video I have a model M-class Mark II that is pressing two labels when I send an impression, the first comes out blank and the print comes out on the second someone could help me?
2 things to try 1 turn on Advanced Menu. So you go to Menu --? System Settings --> Menu Mode --> then select "Advanced Menu". Now you will see other sections of the menu like Communications. If you already had that on then at least you can try the Auto calibration which is not as thorough but it might be enough to help . Hold the Feed button down for about 5 seconds and it will cycle through the auto calibration.
Wow, I just realized you posted this 2 years ago. Sorry. I posted this video for my Desktop Admins to use and I had no idea that the public was seeing it. 31,000 views on this thing, maybe I should make more.
Sorry, the Mark 1 you just hold it down and it cycles through the different contrasts and the screen comes up. Mark 2 you hold the menu button down for 2 seconds then up and down arrow until your screen comes back. If that doesn't work it could be a bad screen.
