To me the song isn't about distance, it's about wanting to be with someone even though you know it's over so you just cherish that last day with that person with the hope of them changing their mind, & if not you still will always have that last day together.
it hurts listening to this song , after trying to get with ur "crush" and then she says shes trying to get back to her abusive ex ... , i know i wouldve treated her like a queen .. but ugh luck is not on my side .
