The 65R is a great razor, at least for me. And i love the artwork on this one. It actually looks like it was made in India. Makes it stand out against all my other razors. I also refurbished an old Eveready. It originally had what looked like horse hair. So I ordered a synthetic flat top knot. I love the flat top. I feel like I have more control of where the lather goes and the knot loves all my soaps. Take care Geo and stay blessed my friend.
Hey Geo, you got me in this whole wetshaving stuff, yesterday I was in a hurry and was like ill skip lathering ill go with shaving gel applying it with fingers..after few minutes of making a mess on my face and not a lather I was like wtf I'm doing, quick wtg pass and soaked the brush 😁
Love the story. We've all been there done that. Try to haphazardly do something quickly, then you have to waste time to erase the first part and start over doing it like you should have in the first place. Moral: Just do it right the first time
Once you know what great lather feels like, nothing comes close.... You can probably watch one of geos older vids of how build lather on the face instead a bowl, helps when you in a hurry, great to learn that technique too if traveling and don't have a bowl handy
@@geofatboy Thanks for this, never thought of using DE always saw it in stores was like damn whats that must be strange. Now I look forward to it and the after feeling very much, I didn't shaved for a week to reshape my goatee, it was like a punishment, I watched shaving videos every day 😆😅 I have fast growing and think bears it kinda even looked good but I felt dirty 😆 hot towel, lather 3 pass, amating shave
@@yeah_nahcunt1057 it sure can work, but I really enjoy the bowl thing, and I only get really irritation free shave woth very thick and dense leather, I soak the brush for 8 minutes, cople shakes and after that i really add just a sprinkle of water to Proraso. If I add too much for me it loses the protection ATG. I don't understand how barbers work woth veery much water on leather yet still good, for me I need that dense lather and it seems easier tonbowl lather to be consistently good

Hi Geo, Great shaving video. Parker really makes beautiful razors, the 65R is stunning. Love your shaving brush, really nice design. The Proraso shaving cream and balm "LUSH". Got to love the Proraso collection. Creams, Balms, Pre-Shaves and Aftershaves / Cologne. Take care Geo.
Congratulations 🎊 on 80k followers your videos inspire me especially on lathering I learn a lot from you on UA-cam Thank you so much for being a good teacher!
As always, great tips. Good feature re the ceramic bowl retaining heat and certainly genuine as opposed to plastic. I must treat myself to one from Shave Nation soon. Cheers, Geo.
Geo, I would love to see you do a shaving video with the Supply SE razor and see if its worth all the hype. I would also especially love you see to do a showdown video with it versus your favorite DE safety razor to see if its possible to attain the slick baby smooth finish using the Supply razor. If I had to choose a shaving soap/aftershave combo for this video, it would be Geo F Trumpers lime shave soap combined with the coral skin food.
great vid once again Geo, liking the daily shaves, it also gives us insight into the razors we as wet shavers may have overlooked. and i find it to be very informative and helps me with my choices for future additions to my (cough) ever growing collection. congrats on the 80k! you deserve it. keep them coming brother.
Great shave Geo and congratulations on the 80K. Please try a face lather with a regular shaving cream next time, such as arko or Palmolive using a boar/ horse hair brush. Thanks
Geo, I started shaving a couple of months ago and got somewhat used to the procedure, though I hit a bit of a roadblock: I can't shave my neck without having a pretty bad razor burn. I tried different techniques, soaps and blades, but I can't get it just right. My skin is thin and my Adam's apple very sharp. Can you make a video explaining what to do in my case? Thank you! Love your videos!

Nice job. I think the brush proves that there is always room for innovation.
Well said!
I LOVE, your idea of a video for every safety razor!
Awesome! Thanks.

Funny how you always do the same thing with your mouth when you're mixing the lather 😁 always looking forward to it!
I will have to check on that. Thanks for noticing and commenting.
I wonder if that handle would screw onto the semi slant. Beautiful
I believe it would...

any change the unbreakable bumpy bowl will be in stock

What is more aggressive 65R o 98R?? Thanks
Su agresividad seria como la del no. 4 de una rockwell razors 6S? O cual, gracias y un saludo, me gustan los videos

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!
can u make a video of u shaving with the merkur futur using personna platinum blades and do 4 passes on level 6
I have no need to shave 4 passes on level 6. That's not how I use an adjustable razor. I go 6-3-1-Done! That being said, you do what's best for you.
Looking forward to the Halloween video Geo, make sure it's a spooky one!👍🎃🎑🕸👻👹💀

Hi geo
Please try Lord DE blades it's popular in Egypt
bit.ly/LordBladesSN Will do! Cause they are made in Egypt , correct?
the only thing i don't like about the Parker razors is their heads. The points seemed to be extra pointed compared to others.
Not a fan of the coneheads either?
hi Geofatboy good morning
I think maybe you not try the u.s.a safety razor western safety.
Does this sandstone texture get damaged with time?
It seems durable, not sure yet, I'll get back to you in a few years on that one!
I just bought a 65R online. The gold trim has tarnished in places.
Geo I want shave nation no 269 razor please restock
Hey restock please black and chrome razor SN no 269
I want purchase this so restock reply
Not my cup of tea. I pretty much stay with good old fashioned all silver weapons. It is a very nice razor. I think Satan would love it😈😂
Interesting...
