My uncle was an Australian citizen he who lived right next to Michale Clark’s parents house, Michale Clark’s childhood was not a bed of roses. My uncle used to say when clark was 8 or 9 years old before he goes to school he used to deliver newspapers door to door. As a Sri Lanka origin my uncle was well to do in Australia and he offered a Job to Clark in one of his shops in Kurandini . He helped Clark to choose Cricket and paid most of his cricketing expenses. Clark used to called him as his Uncle and he still goes to his cemetery and spend sometimes alone.

The one comment he made was about the "rules and culture all Aussie cricketers past and present follow “, Shows why they are successful day in day out . Unfortunately lacking with Sri Lankan Cricket. Take a leaf boys , you are not born with talent but discipline is what gets you there.
