Got to hand to this tournament for being diverse and bringing something out of the box. It's refreshing to see other facets of this game despite its rich competitive history. I'm curious. Would you say this winning this tournament is legit or not?

I think it was decided that the open bracket counted for points but the final bracket was a bit to lax for that. Still really great performances tough.
5 stock makes sense to me especially w the 0-death and punish heavy nature of the highest level players. An “extra” stock I think encourages more engagements and risk taking since a SD is overall less of a loss

I love the idea of tournaments with prize pools but don't count towards rankings and stuff. This gives the players and viewers more interesting meta developments to watch while also not letting the experimental nature of the ruleset dictate the player's yearly standings. There's incentive to practice really hard without the stress of unbalanced stages and oddball rules ruining your competitive recod.
