So cute
In 2016-2017 we found a baby wombat on our street who had unfortunately fallen out of mums pouch due to impact. Mum scurried always injured into the bush at night, and we were unable to safely get her, so we were told to leave her. However we got the baby, and took him to an emergency vet. We was then discharged the next day to Healesville sanctuary which is amazing, and we were so happy. A real long shot, but would you possibly have him still, or would he have eventually been re-released?
Also the vet confirmed it was a male, so it definitely wasn’t Gem. We’re around Beaconsfield-emerald area.
And contrary to everything else in 'Straya, not venomous.
