I guessed that they swapped out for real horses for certain sceans for obvious reason due to safety and cinematic reasons but thank you anyway for your confirmation.
What a great piece of work. I thought that the horse was really real.

Wow, such dedication to the movements of an actual horse. That's insanely great work!
Fantastic work guys.
Puppets are still creepy man, the more impressive the more terrifying.
Woa
I feel you!... LOL...specially in horror movies!.. AMAZING PUPPETS!.... so lifelike!... taking a life of their own!..🤣🤣😍❤🙏
Wow!! Long time since I was seriously wowed:) What a talented team. Amazing.
Joey is so life like he actually acts like a real hose and I forgot that he was a puppet and puppeteers are working him . 😱⭐️
Incredible artistry, natural movements in fact good enough to convince me it's real.
They weren't horsing around when they made Joey. Amazing.
I loved that movie, I watched it for my highschool American History class! Such a beautiful horse -w-
Me too. Such an amazing and emotional movie. Is this play made after the movie? Or do you think the movie was made after the play? I remember the horse's name in the movie was in fact, Joey. Same time period. This is just incredible. 🖤🐴
This was my favorite stage performance of everything I’ve ever seen
I watched this more than 20 times,, at first I was like why does this look so real,, when there r people controlling it. It's so fascinating , all the talent, skill, art, creativity,,, everything...beyond words! We Humans are amazing💕
The mechanics and the sincronización in all movements are spectacular but the head movements are perfect 👊🏾
The head movements are 100% on par with a real horse, they are identical, it's amazing
I dig me some sincronización
This is amazing! The way the tail sways and the ears move. Everything is amazing. They did a great job😍
I got no words this is amazing
That is AMAZING! It looks real even though you can see that it's not real. It looks like it takes a lot of strength for the guys underneath. I can't imagine what it takes to figure out how to coordinate all those movements. Wow!
Yesss mam
Ur right line
Pdgrh
Yeah I especially feel sorry for the at the back
When they do the front leg thing , yes.
But it is the skill of the subtle body movements which makes up for most of their professional standards.
It's flawless with spontaneous expressions, hats off to engineers 👏👏👏👏
They became professionals, an art and an admirable dedication to cinema and science.
That looked so real. Really impressive.
I've actually seen the stage production and it's amazing, so worth it.
This horse is real & unreal at the same time 🙌🏼❤️🔥
Je öfter ich es anschaue, desto mehr kann ich mir vorstellen es sei echt.... phantastisch ❤❤
