Eueu’s Vlog: Jeju Travel Day 1 - Hado-ri, Cycling in Udo Island, Beautiful Airbnb

My friend and I booked this trip since end of November 2023. Time dlew by quickly ans the day of our trip was upon us. We flew direct from Singapore to Jeju with Scoot. As we both don’t have driving licenses, we depended on buses and taxis to get around Jeju during our stay. We landed early in the morning and took a bus to our Airbnb located in Hado-ri which is a quiet sea side neighbourhood on the east side od Jeju. We didnt wanr to stay in a hotel but rather explore the local neighbourhoods.

First stop after landing in Jeju was to take a ferry to Udo. We took a bus to the Seongsan port and caught the ferry to Udo. It was only 10-15 mins ferry ride (10,500₩). At Udo, we rented ebikes as we couldn’t rent cute looking scooters without international driver’s license. But ebike was good enough too. We rented the bikes (15,000₩) for about 4 hours. We were told it takes 1 hour to cycle aroun Udo but we were not in a rush. We cycled around thr circumference and made may pit stops for food, snacks and photos. We utilised the 4 hours rental fully. There were 1 to 2 slopes and uphill rides on the way but wth ebike ir was managable. We caught the 2nd last ferry back. Bought fried chicken for dinner to eat back in our Airbnb. It wss a nice end to the first day in Jeju.

Looking forward to your day 2. My hubby and I were watching together during lunch (WFH), we burst out laughing coz you said ‘smoke’ instead of cooling mist coming in as you board on Scoot. Just got back from Seoul n Busan…since there is directly flight;will go Jeju next.

I feel they tend to know a bit more Chinese than English as there are many Chinese tourists. You can try both. 😀
