So what about CMY (cyan, magenta, and yellow), and RYB (red, yellow, and blue) ????
@@detormentis CMYK are printer colours that have to use complementary shades because they are laid on top of each other. RYB is from a painters pigment colour reel and uses Y because all the primary shades won't mix (Green is made from Yellow and Blue) and YPbPr, are component video signals where Y represents Luma and NOT the colour yellow. Pb and Pr are colour difference signals (Primary)
